"This place is amazing. Just used them for the first time for my adopted dog. I took my youngest daughter there to get her approval and she liked it so it was kid approved! They do an interview day where you have to leave them there for 1 daytime daycare pick up by 7pm. He did great so he was able to be boarded when we went out of town on the weekend. But you have to make sure they have ALL shots they require. The staff was friendly, you can tell they loved dogs, no one had a mean attitude or behavior so that was a super plus! You can tell they were passionate about what they do. My dog even got a report card when we picked him up, super cute. And there’s also videos you can check on them periodically when they are out in the play area."
"My dog Henry loves it here. I honestly have only ever written a couple of reviews for anything in my life…I don’t even have social media, but the staff here is so genuinely amazing, that they deserve to be recognized. Henry has so much fun here that I have to take the back way to visit my brother, because he knows when we turn onto Jones Maltsberger…that it’s Camp Bow Wow time! The staff members are always kind, courteous, and extremely friendly…and even though they may not always remember my name (which is rare), they always remember Henry’s…and that’s what matters in the end, right? It’s impossible for me to recommend this place any more than I already do, as there is honestly not one negative thing that I can think of saying about Camp Bow Wow. I’m glad that I was recommended this place to take my dude when I moved to San Antonio, and if anyone ever asks, I always highly recommend them. Thank you Camp Bow Wow, and more importantly, thank you to your incredible staff members for giving my dude Henry something to look forward to when I’m at work…which is all the time. I’ve also included an obligatory pic of Henry after a tough day playing with his human and doggie buddies at Camp Bow Wow."
"The intake process is starting to become more and more frustrating. If you have reactive pups, it can take anywhere from 10-25 minutes to wait in your car while other parents drop off their dogs and are either chatting with staff or staff is held up in the back? Not sure, but it's tough when you need to drop off quickly and get to work, school or appointments and you're stuck because others take their time without a care in the world about how much time they're taking. Overall, our dogs still enjoy their time at camp. Pricing also went up this spring/summer for daycare itself but also the activities you can have your dog join in on. We don't participate much in the paid activities anymore because camp is already expensive as is."
"The staff is very friendly and my pup is always happy to attend daycare at Camp Bow Wow! The level of cleanliness at this location is impressive, and the campers always appear to be having fun. The ability to watch my dog via webcam anytime I want to is a huge plus as well. They charge $30 for one full-day of doggie daycare, which is reasonable for the quality they provide and a little less than their competitors."
"We rescued a staffy and we send her here to make sure she is well socialized with other pups. She comes home super tired and has so much fun. We watch her on the remote camera. The staff are great and give us a report on how our puppy behaved for the visit. Love this place!"
