"Odd visit last time and I feel that after many years of good, now I have to report the bad. Our much older dog (13-14 years) has been going to Shining Paws for years. The last time, we were told that she needs to be medicated prior to coming next time which is VERY odd. She is the most docile dog and I was confused. My husband was told grooming would be $55 (as usual). When he picked her up, no one was at the desk but there were invoices laid out with her name on it, so he threw down $70 ($15 tip) and walked out. The owner, Michael, runs out to the truck to tell him that it was $65 and not $55. This is the moment he also informs my husband that my old dog requires medication. Regarding the payment, my husband just simply said, I left enough since all his reallocating of the bill did was cause us to leave a $5 tip instead of $15. The whole thing was just weird and after many, many years, we will not be going back. They used to do a great job and I overlooked the very strong smell of urine, but now I will have to find another location. Good luck!"
