"My daughter danced at here for 2 years, starting at the old studio and ending at the new for Spring Performance. During that time my daughter did grow as dancer. The reasons why we left are because of the lack of communication, communication style and lack of respect towards parents and dancers. Communication was generally better, but not great, regarding classes. Anything regarding rehearsals was a different story even though it was the same staff. Classes consistently ran 10-15 late while rehearsals could run as much as 45 minutes late, or didn’t even have ending times. Parents were locked out of the lobby and students were even locked in. Emails were left without responses. The owner's parent volunteers even apologized to me for the behavior. I honestly delayed saying anything for fear of reprisal towards my daughter (that my daughter would be kicked out of the performance she worked so hard on if I said anything before now). I can NOT recommend this studio and felt the obligation to warn other parents considering sending their children here."

"My daughter has been attending SA City Ballet since it’s opening, previously she attended Cibolo City Ballet (sister studio). I can’t say enough great things about the training my daughter has received and the growth she has made during her time at both CCB and SACB, under the direction of Ms. Danae. When we moved to the San Antonio area a few years ago, we immediately went on the hunt for a new studio for my daughter. Coming from a much smaller town than here, the options available were overwhelming but ultimately decided to try and landed with Ms. Danae. It has been nothing but a positive experience for my daughter’s dance education. The discipline learned through class carries through to her everyday life, as well. The instructors are top of line and some former professionals with decades of experience. The other students have become great friends with my daughter, and their parents make it feel like family. Without a doubt I recommend SACB for all students - the younger ones just beginning or older ones looking to try it all the way up to the highly competitive athlete looking for a new challenge. If you’re new to the area or been around for a while and shopping for a new experience, don’t delay in giving SACB a chance at furthering your students dance education!"

"My granddaughter has been training at Cibolo City Ballet and more recently the newest location San Antonio City Ballet for the past 8 years. The training she receives from Ms. Danae and the instructors at SACity is top notch. I have watched her grow into a beautiful dancer. The discipline my granddaughter has attained through this training has contributed to her discipline outside of dance as well. One of the benefits of ballet training comes from its culture of respect and discipline in the classroom. SACity Ballet instills discipline and perseverance in every class.
