"I do wish we had more time and the opportunity to hit up L. Woods more often. Personally I love the atmosphere and each time we have gone the food has been great and our server was spot on. We had the pounded chicken and filet medallions special and both were delicious. Prices are reasonable and we always seem to enjoy ourselves. Highly recommended!"

"Best French Onion soup I've had!! Also, here is a great place for the corn bread and the side beans that come with the brisket. Although, I must add the brisket was just ok as mine was dried out and very lean to the point that it needed sauce to eat."

"Good food. Service was good too. Nothing amazing to write about. I was however annoyed after I paid to find they added a 3% charge to the bill and never mentioned it. Stop with the stupid surcharges for "increased ingredient" expenses. Raise the price on the menu and stop acting like the prices are going to go down and you'll stop charging the fee. OR have the host or server mention the fee when I come in or sit down. It's stupid and ridiculously like a bait and switch. And yes I could ask for you to take it off, but it's a pain after you ran my card. Enough of my rant. The food is good, just know about the fee before you go."

"If you like Wisconsin supper clubs then you're going to love this place. Great hearty selection and amazing specials. Several types of old fashions to choose from along with a ok wine list. The food is exactly what you would want from a supper club, tasty, filling, nothing crazy, but also just a little bland. I liked it a lot. Service was impeccable and atmosphere was wonderful."

"This was my first time here. The service was outstanding, and the place is nice and comfy. The onion soup, the bread and the side of spinach and cheese were delicious, however my rib eye steak was not good. It was average, very dry and it came with some water maybe to try to hide the fact that it was overcooked, it also lacked flavor."
