Reviews
"This is my 100% honest and genuine review of the Renaissance apartments managed by Bender companies. I have been living at the Renaissance apartments since May 2023. My apartment building is not well kept, outside the grass is dying and very, very muddy. At one point I did not have running water for almost a week. The building doesn't utilize HVAC and my building's boiler is apparently old/needs to be replaced. Since the start of the cold season we have had issues with our heat on 3 or 4 separate occasions now. This past weekend the temps were in the negatives or single digits and WE DID NOT HAVE HEAT during this. I called emergency maintenance and thankfully they came but there wasn't anything they could do at the time so I had to be stuck with a temperature of 62 degrees in my apartment for DAYS. We have had cockroaches in our apartment (which was confirmed that we are not the source) since we moved in. When we moved in there was a kitchen drawer that was broken, kitchen cabinets were missing multiple handles, someone stole from my car while living here, someone threw up on the staircase in the building which wasn't cleaned up until about a week and a half later, there was also a weird noose looking knot/rope that was strung on my door which we assume were just kids being weird but nonetheless was WEIRD and uncomfortable. I left the photos here so you can see it. Also the doors into the building aren't locked so that feels unsafe too. I'm also a person with a disability and not being able to have a reliable source of water and heat (on multiple occasions) was distressing to say the least. Normally the clubhouse is only open 9AM - 5:30PM which isn't convenient because the gym/pool/basketball court follow these hours so we can hardly even use the amenities because this falls under most people's office hours (including mine). I only used the pool twice, I think, during the summer I was here due to the inconvenient hours. I give this a 2 stars because the unit itself is quite big and the living room is a very nice size. I also like the size of the balcony, it's big and has a nice look outside. Also, shoutout to Edgar for communicating with me on my issues I've had and for being compassionate and understanding throughout all my frustrations, I leave a 2 star instead of a 1 star because of your help in all this and the unit being a good size. I also want to acknowledge the maintenance team, they are always very prompt and will fix our issues quickly, so thank you for that! Maria, I believe is doing the best she can but is not super understanding of the situation and will rarely reply to me with any sort of compassion on the situation, she'll just regurgitate the same info I'm already aware of. Daniel, I have never had the pleasure of speaking to so I can't say anything on him! EDIT: I don't believe these apartments are uninhabitable. They are definitely able to be lived in if necessary. I believe for the price point, though, you should get something better that doesn't have nearly as many issues. Given past management, I believe current management is doing the best to their abilities but I can't in good conscious recommend these apartments to others with the experiences I've had. There needs to be some major upgrades or changes for me to feel comfortable recommending these apartments."

"Hello I stay in 201 mantle lane apt 105. Stayed here for 3 years and have enjoyed my experience. Maintenance is always prompt when needed. Only issue I've ever had is the pool is not always open in the summer time."
"At first things were way off, was denied certain things like a new dishwasher as mines was ancient and not working. But, since new management/team and new maintenance team came along things were getting done timely with no favoritism. Office staff is pleasant and management is very helpful and understanding which is all is asked for. Complex is convenient to nearby stores and other resources and pretty quiet."
"Good location to live in, lots of stores around, peaceful. I wish this property would have open hours for weekends to use the gym and basketball facilities. As well as the pool in the summer. Would be better if laundry room had more washing and drying machines as well. Staff provides very good and friendly service."
