"On 01/25/24 we made an appointment online for 02/15/24 at 2:30. On 01/25/24 we received an email confirming the appt. Today 02/14/24 we received a call saying tomorrow's appt needed to be rescheduled because it was a "requested appt" and therefore they could reschedule it due to a surgery being scheduled for that day. She repeatedly stated that since it was a "requested appt" they could ask us to reschedule. First of all, aren't all appointments "requested appts"? They gave us other appt options but due to other commitments we could not use them. I stated that the reason appts are scheduled is so that schedules can be planned around said appts. She proceeded to say that they called me on 01/25/24 and left me a voicemail informing me that the appt needed to be rescheduled. I told her no such voicemail was received on my end (I double-checked this and there was no such voicemail). Let me say again, I have an email from them sent on 01/25/24 confirming our appt, the same day they claim to have contacted me to reschedule. They offered to do a drop off for our 4 month old puppy. We are not leaving a 4 month old puppy in a clinic, 1) as per vaccination schedules she is not yet fully vaccinated and should not be left in areas with other dogs, 2} she is only 4 months old and we didn't want her to be around barking/yelping dogs, as is understandably common in clinics, and get a fear of going to a vet clinic. I told them to just cancel the appt, I'll go somewhere else. After we hung up, guess what I got...an automated text message from them confirming tomorrow's appt. What?!?!? Where is their due diligence? If they left a voicemail (probably dialed the wrong number, mistakes happen we get that) and didn't hear back from us...why didn't they make another attempt to reach us??!!! WHY WOULD YOU WAIT UNTIL THE DAY BEFORE THE APPT TO TELL US IT HAD TO BE RESCHEDULED???!!! We have been long time Banfield clients for our other pets...NO MORE BANFIELD FOR US!!!"
"Very disappointed with the veterinarian staff, specifically Dr. Box. I have my reasons and bad experiences to not call him a vet doctor. He failed multiple times to do the right thing even when challenged to do so. He was lazy, mislead, and not even committed to endure the pet health. They use to attend over 30 dogs on daily basis. One of the many reasons, their quality of service dropped significantly, and sometimes, reached the mediocrity. You want my advice. Run away from this place before it is too late!"
"If you care about your pet, go somewhere else. It's not worth wasting your money, time, and risking your pets health. My sister and I took her new cat here. We found her cat over Christmas break on the side of a road and this was the only vet in the area that could fit us in so soon after the holidays. We made an appointment online, showed up 15 minutes early, and they told us it was canceled and someone called us. No one called and we had an email confirmation that morning. They rescheduled us for the next day and we took it. There were red flags immediately. You can look at this cat and tell shes blind. If you spend over 5 minutes with her, you can also notice shes incredibly hard of hearing on top of that. The vet we saw said she has no hearing or vision issues. We said thats impossible and to take another look. I will attach a photo of her eyes. They called back and said they now agree and want to perform hundreds of dollars in testing to see if she has any other health issues. We agreed and the only thing they noted was an upper respiratory infection. We paid almost $500, went home, and over the next two weeks administered all of the medication and followed the vets orders. She is still sick. Yesterday we chose the smart option that I recommend to anyone reading this: we saw another vet. She has kidney disease, a UTI, and an ear infection. Somehow the most common disease in cats wasn't noticed by banfield after spending almost $500. If you love your pets, go to literally any other vet in the area. You're better off googling your pets symptoms than taking them here. Update: After communicating with the office manager Codi, we were not able to reach a resolution. After $500, she found it appropriate and just to have overlooked a massive ear infection, kidney disease, and an intense UTI. The office manager of this practice believes everything mentioned is quality care for your pet. Please avoid this office."
"We take our two pups here for the basics like shots. The staff is always gentle with them, kind to them, and always courteous with us. Our pups never hesitate to follow them back to the room. They are always prompt and done within the amount of time they say. We like it."
"Angela treats you wonderful, I think she really cares about you and your pets! Dr. Box explains everything to you in easy to understand information and is honest about what he can and cannot take care of for you and your pets!"
