"GP Management is extremely unprofessional, dishonest and takes a “hands-off” approach with their tenants. While they do have an office in Gurnee, the main form of communication from GP to their tenants is via E-mail. It is nearly impossible to get someone on the phone and when you do, they are incredibly unhelpful. They do not directly answer any concerns and will only refer to making requests/complaints in writing only and sent via E-mail. GP has no interest in helping their tenants with any matter, big or small. While living in Bristol Cove for the term of a 1-year lease there were multiple issues. Our washing machine began leaking and over the course of 6 weeks and 4 complaints, it was finally replaced. This was after GP attempted to tell us that the machine was not leaking or causing issues. They attempted to “replicate” the leak multiple times and apparently failed, yet every time we used the machine it would leak water all over the floor. The water pooled and there was physical evidence of black mold that us, the tenants, had to clean (GP attempted to tell us that the tehcnician cleaned it, but this was false). During the first two maintentance visits, the technician was in our unit for maybe 5 minutes and tracked leaves and mud throughout due to not removing his shoes. On the 3rd request, the technician attempted to repair the “not broken” machine and the 4th request the machine was replaced. We know of all times the technicial entered our unit due to having a security camera. Upon moveout, GP illegally withheld security deposit funds for “Carpet Cleaning.” In the State of Wisconsin, landlords are not allowed to withhold any portion of a tenants security deposit for carpet cleaning. GP lied to the State of Wisconsin Department of Agricultue stating that my dogs caused damages to the carpet requring it to be replaced after failing to clean it. This was a complete lie and, in reality, the carpets in the unit were likely almost original to the building (built in the 90’s) and displayed a multitude of stains that were present upon move-in. After issuing a complaint to the state, then the state issuing GP a “Failure to Comply” notice for illegally withholding funds, the remainder of the deposit was released. This was only a fraction of the issues. If I could give Bristol Cove zero stars, I would. Find somewhere else to rent instead of being screwed over by this horrible company."
"Moved out after living there for a year. They charged me almost $800 out of my security deposit for whatever reason. One of the charges was for melted siding, which was there before I even moved in. Went back 4 months later to visit friends and the siding they charged me hundreds of dollars for to be repaired has never even been repaired. When I tried to contact management they never returned a single one of my many emails and phone calls. If you rent here make sure you document everything before moving in! Management is a joke"

They’re attentive to tenant needs and have been doing a great job improving the appearance of the community. I recently renewed my lease with no hesitation, and will likely stay here until I purchase a home of our own."
"We have lived here now for 2 years! Moved in June 2020 moving was easy. Neighbors are quiets and respectful. When management changed they gave us plenty of noticed and we were even able to switch to month to month plan. We have a two bedroom townhouse, we definitely lucked out with the location and the pond as our backyard view. I would recommend this place to live to couples or small families."
"I moved here Aug 2021 right as the new management firm took over and have happily resigned my lease for another year. I have a 3 bedroom townhome and I love it. My unit came with new carpet, fresh paint, clean appliances. The location is great for people with children. I have two and Bristol School is not only a great school, but right up the road. My neighbors are quiet and friendly, I’ve never had packages stolen. Ive never felt unsafe here. Maintenance has always answered my requests promptly. My hot water went out in the night and they came the next morning and fixed it. If you’ve been apartment shopping at all the past year, you’re likely seeing insane rental tags. That is not the case here. My rent is incredibly reasonable and affordable. I was given a large notice in advance that there would be a $25 increase once my renewal began. Bristol cove is in a great location (you can walk to the diner), has great schools, a lot of younger children have recently moved in which makes it a great little community. They are working on repairs in Phases. We got fresh paint, new locks, we’re getting new mulch. It’s a beautiful place and I would highly recommend to anyone looking."
