"READ this in whole. I was a regular here and loved taking my pet here until one day Dr Jacob took advantage of me. My dog had a cbc done showing his platelets were low. We placed him on steroids came back next visit and the doctor purposely lied to me stating my dogs condition worsened and his platelets were lower without giving me the test results. This NEVER happens any test you pay for a vet gives you the documents and this should have been my red glad but I trusted this vet. He wanted me to buy more meds, schedule another visit and another test and spend MORE money. Next visit after spending more money he told me my dog miraculously is fine now. How could you do that to people just because you know they love their pets?? And prescribed me to give my pet the incorrect dosage for steroids that led to him gaining weight and having a slip disc. The only reason I found out is because my dog had a slip disc right after and I had to get all his medical records from Cambridge. When I questioned the doctor asking why he lied he changed his story and admitted to my dogs health improving prior to the last visit. I have documented conversations and had to demand his cbc results before they gave it to me. What the doctor does not understand is the aftermath of the lie he told. Steroids makes your pet gain weight and eat more and gain more weight. He is part dachshund and got a slip disc because of the weight gain. He became PARALYZED. It’s a condition called IVDD. I had 72 hrs to come up with $11k for surgery or he either would have died or been permanently paralyzed. (Slip disc block blood flow in spinal chord) the spinal chord has nerves that plays a part in EVERYTHING including the dogs breathing. I found a vet in Dallas that charged half that but had to drive from Houston to Dallas leaving my pet their for a week. Coming up with the money, the recovery process and the stress I went through was difficult having a paralyzed dog. He recovered but will never walk the same. All because this doctor told what he thought was a harmless lie to make extra money. Not a good person. I can prove it and plan on taking legal action. I will never recommend this vet. I recommend ECONOMY PET CLINIC IN STAFFORD for anyone looking for an affordable vet that actually knows what they are doing. If you do go here request any doctor other than Dr Jacob which is sad because he’s the owner."

"We took our British Bulldog there for a shot and we are so happy with the service. Our 1st pet we used to take here and I’m so happy to be able to bring our next family member. They are so very nice and knowledgeable about animals. Definitely will be back!"
"Cambridge Post Oak Animal Clinic Really came through -- and in an emergency and with affordable costs. My male cat had a blockage (cant pee) causing him immense pain. This can be pretty lethal if not checked out immediately. I called my vet and 10 other places and no one could see him within the week. Cambridge set an appointment the next morning for us and was affordable. I was worried how long it would take because I had back to back appts., but they came got him from the car and the vet called me with his evaluation in like 10 min. He told me what he saw and thought and gave me the prescription/plan of what we needed to do for him. I was in and out in 30 min with antibiotics and a plan for his diet. I really appreciate how available and efficient they were. Very nice doctor and staff."
