"I did not have a good experience at this vet, which has sent me back to Jersey Village even though it is quite a drive from my new neighborhood. I made an appointment for my dog who all the sudden was in a lot of pain and unable to walk due to a swollen leg and bump in his side. I had already waited all day due to them not having any availability in the morning when I called the day before. I was very stressed out that day about my dog as he was barely moving and whimpering every time he got up. I arrived on time, but they insisted I was 20 minutes late. I know that I had the correct time because I had sent 3 texts immediately after I made the appointment letting various people know what time I'd be gone. My guess is the receptionist scheduled it at the wrong time. She had given me a couple options on times and I had selected the one I wanted. The tech kept insisting that I was late and that the doctor could not see me anymore and had another dog with a "medical case" that she was prioritizing over my dog. Not sure what exactly that means as my dog was also a "medical case"? I was overall very turned off by the way I was treated that day by the tech and decided that I would take my pets and money elsewhere at this point. I had a couple routine visits prior to this that were fine, but this left a lasting, sour taste in my mouth. Obviously others have had great experiences here, but that was not the case for me that day. I felt very disregarded and that my dog was not important enough to be seen, in addition to being told I was late over and over, when I am 100% sure I was not. Not to mention I have a baby at home that I had to leave to go to this appointment and wasn't able to "wait around until the doctor might be free later". I explained all this to them and received no sympathy, understanding or flexibility."
