"I was a customer of Southeast Animal for a number of years and was satisfied with the level of service and treatment of my dogs. However, a few years ago my dog Rosie started to experience bloating and so I got her in to see Dr. Homer on a Saturday as a walk in. We believe what happened was she had an internal tumor that ruptured and caused fluid buildup which would require surgery that (admittedly) Dr. Homer probably couldn't do as he's only open a 1/2 day on Saturdays. However, instead of saying it could be something serious and/or suggesting I take her to an emergency animal hospital he sent us home and we made an appointment for the following week. Throughout the day Rosie got more and more short of breath and in more discomfort so, by the time I took her to Becker Animal at 5-6 PM she was starting to become hypoxic and we decided it was best to end her suffering. I will confess I don't know if anything would have changed if Dr. Homer hadn't blown us off and I'm sure his actions are in line with veterinary ethics and all that. Still, I can't help but to feel Rosie deserved better and that's why I elected to take my business elsewhere and cannot recommend Dr. Homer as a vet."

"I really appreciated both Dr Homer and Dr Jackson. When I take my cats here, I get to go in and sit with them and ask questions. They are very kind, helpful and personable."

"I usually don't have any issues when I visit. Staff is always friendly, the rooms are clean, and have all of my questions answered pretty straightforwardly. Prices are prices I know little to nothing about how things are priced but I usually walk away feeling like the prices are good. What stands out the most to me was that the weewee pad I initially placed in the kennel was soiled and the staff replaced it for me. I have been to different vet that just let the animals sit on the soiled pad till it was time for pick up. Which was from 9am to 5pm."

"Brought our puppy in with a broken/fractured arm. You would think with the word “Hospital” in the name that they would take her. No apparently on Wednesdays they can’t take new patients. Even if they’re arm is broken. Never coming here again. How do you turn down a puppy with a serious injury. We were willing to pay. Do better. She was taken care of elsewhere. Missed out on an easy $2k cause of your front desk."
