Reviews
"My review is specifically toward the podiatrist in the clinic, Dr. Thomas Mark, MD. And if I had the option of NO STARS that's exactly what I'd put. Last week, I went in to see if I could be seen, because I had an incident that happened to my foot weeks prior to that day. I had gone maybe around 11am and there was a sign that they'd resume clinic hours at 1pm, so I came back at 1pm. But already, there were maybe 5 people waiting so they couldn't see me because they had already met their quota for the day. Mind you, they're suppose to be available until 4pm. Being in the medical field...even if there's 1 doctor available they're suppose to see patients for 15 minutes minimum each, so 4 patients every hour???? Since I had already been walking on my foot for more than 2 weeks, the secretary suggested there's a podiatrist in the clinic but not until the following week, so I made the appt to see him and wait. I get to my appt today maybe 5 minutes early, but wait 10-15 minutes for the doctor to call me. And I dont mind I know doctors get busy sometimes unexpectedly. He finally calls my name and I'm getting my 3 and 4 year olds ready to go inside and he immediately asks who the appt is for and I say myself. He then tells me he cant see me because of my kids. That he cant have them walking or touching anything, so I need to make another appt to see him without them. I'm still holding composure because he's speaking loudly and bothered (rude and unprofessional), I stand startled and tell him they will sit nicely and quietly with my phone and he then says, yeah in the waiting room they could. I tell him I can have them sit on my lap, both of them if they just cant step in the room, while he looks at my foot and cuts me off saying no and again I need to reschedule. He refused me services. No empathy, no compassion or care. I stand there embarrassed of how he treated me and he comes back waiving his arms around asking in sarcasm to the secretary if she's going to babysit my kids while he attends me? And she, Melissa, who was super sweet when she attended me then changed her tone of voice at the Doctors level with a harsh No. I didnt ASK her to babysit or expected her to volunteer to watch them either, she's working and I don't leave my kids with any strangers just to get something done for myself. Neither one at any point said sorry for anything, Melissa couldn't even look at my face when she brought me back my insurance. When I got home and called the clinic to ask for their names, she quickly apologized and told me she'd give me a number where I can call and complain about him. Maybe he was having a bad day or was busy or in a hurry, but that's no way to treat a patient or refuse services for reasons as such as my kids? Very much unprofessional and rude!"
"Nice staff, very routine type of things. Wish the dentist was there more often"
