"Dr Wallace and her staff are excellent and really care about our dog. Highly recommend."
"Love the staff and Dr Wallace. Everyone is kind and compassionate as well as professional. I bring both my Boxers and my kitties here!"
"Our dog decided to to try and squeeze through our fence and cut her side pretty badly. I had never been to this vet prior to this visit and they made a scary situation easier. They were kind, patient, and budget friendly. Plus our dog LOVED the front office ladies and all of their treats."
"I needed an emergency test to rule out parvo in a sick puppy. ALL I NEEDED WAS THE TEST. There was a sign on the door NO DOCTOR TODAY. A lady opened the door and asked me what I needed. I said a parvo test. Just the test to rule out parvo. That's all I need. Is there a tech here who can do this? She said "not without a doctor here" I said I didn't need an exam or treatment just the test. Just to rule it out. Refused to do it. Refused to help. My regular vet in Durant Oklahoma has techs who do these kinds of things all the time. With parvo, MINUTES count. This vet is 10 minutes from my house, I've used her before, but she does a million tests and runs up your bill. Won't give her breeders a break. Breeders spend THOUSANDS of dollars a year on vets. So my regular vet is 82 miles away because he price cuts his breeders and doesn't do a million tests that aren't necessary before treating a dog. He gives people a break and this one, Dr. Shelly Wallace WON'T. Too bad she is very knowledgeable about reproductive medicine. Oh well Dr. Wallace, THIS professional breeder will continue to drive to Durant. The puppy? A kindly vet in Denton sent the tech out to my car, got the sample the test was negative sent me on my way. No office charge. Just the test. Dr. Dean Layh."
