"My son has been seeing Dr. Betancourt since birth. He is now 16 years old. Needless to say, we love Dr. Betancourt! If my son is sick, this office gets him in same day, usually within a couple of hours. The office staff and nurses are so professional and friendly. I highly recommend this practice for your child pediatric medical needs."
"I love taking my kids to Salud pediatrics. Sarah and Dr. Bock are amazing and always do such a thorough assessment. But I had a recent experience with one of the other Physicians and mind you this was not the first time this happened this happened before with the Same physician and same incident, she tells me my daughter is perfectly fine this physician stated oh look at her she’s perfectly fine her ears and throat look beautiful and refused to test her for RSV when I clearly told her my daughter was exposed to RSV.I don’t just make sick appointments if my kids just fine , she’d been sick for days and I know my daughters history with ear infections I m very well aware when she has it and I had taken day of for this so I go home next day my daughter is worse so of course it’s the weekend can’t get in till Monday. Come Monday I requested to see Sarah and luckily I was able to get my kid an appointment with her and she assessed her she had an ear infection and her throat was inflamed. I m just very frustrated that my kid had to suffer like this."
"I really love the care providers here however, the billing department is not run well at all and there have been multiple instances where they had billed incorrect insurance company and overcharged. The last time they called recently stating we owe them money because the insurance company did a "take back". We contacted our insurance company and there was not a single thing showing this request or submission. We called the company back with our insurance company on the line and all of a sudden they had no idea where this was coming from and they saw a $0 balance. I do not feel that the billing department is running correctly and it feels like they were not billing correctly. We had to leave the good providers because of how poorly run the billing was ran. Very sad about this and did not want to report this, but I feel it's something I would want to know."
"This office is more payment focus that patient. Though Dr. Joanne and NP Bocks are very nice, the office/receptionist/manager just don't care about their patients. I've been using this office for over 4 year. My kids annual physical was rescheduled just because the credit card on file expired July and I was never notified about it. I was even called a day before the appointment for COVID 19 screening but nothing about my credit card. I have a good medical insurance and annual physical are fully covered yet this office will not attend to the kids. I was at work and a friend of mine took the kids to this appointment. They requested my friend to give the office another credit card. I called the office immediately to let them know that I am at work and do not have my credit card on me (I'm a nurse and my wallet is in my locker room). I promise to give them a call back in 20/30minutes with my credit card information. I was told "no, you have to reschedule". I'm not sure if the color of my skin plays a role in this, but definitely looking for another Pediatrician."
