"This apartment is better than others in the area but the walls are paper thin here. You can hear you neighbors enter their front door at night and can hear people talking outside. Also, the sidewalk and stairs don’t get shoveled good enough in the winter and I fell twice on ice on the stairs while carrying a baby."

"Overall good apartment not great, personally might not renew given the price - You don't make a deposit you pay fees so you don't get it back at the end of the lease. - 1 bedroom is $760 plus $50 pet fee. It covers up to $80 of electric fees. - The water here is not drinkable so i need to use a Zero water filter to filter the water before drinking but from my experience that's common for peoria tap water - when I moved in back in November there was a roach issue because another apartment below me was not taken care of by the tenant, I live in 704C. They did eventually spray and solve the issue - There is a working AC/heater unit in my apartment - it is in a very convenient area in peoria, I have access to walmart and tons of food options - apartment comes with a dishwasher, fridge and stove - the apartment supports Xfinity internet service - the apartment emanates work but are worn down for example some of the dishwasher prongs are broken, I was told they would not fix it unless the actual machine was broken."

"Kitra was very helpful with all of my questions and in addressing a few minor issues during my ~9 month stay. Loved my studio apartment and would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for low-cost apartments. Pros: free parking, near grocery stores and shopping center, pool (will open when COVID is cleared up), friendly and helpful staff, and they were touching up the building interiors when I left and just repaved the parking lot."

"I had the pleasure of staying at Woods and Meadows for a couple months during my summer internship at Caterpillar. Overall, I was very pleased with the apartment. It was safe, it was clean, it was quiet, and it was affordable. Both the residents and the staff were very friendly, so it was a nice environment to live in. The apartment is surrounded by woods on three sides, so it is a quiet and relaxing environment as well. When I moved in, my apartment was meticulously cleaned before I moved in, and everything was in good working condition. I did have one minor maintenance issue during my stay, but I let the property manager know about it, and it was promptly taken care of. They have 1 bedroom and studio apartments available. They also have excellent deals for those of you that are looking for a short term deal, and they even have some studio apartments available for rent that come with furniture, a TV, kitchen supplies (pots, pans, plates, silverware, etc), towels, sheets for the bed, pillows, and blankets (all linens were new). I literally only had to bring my clothes and other personal belongings. These studios also include your cable, internet, and utilities all in your rent bill, so all you have to pay for is rent. For those of you that are just starting out, college students, interns at CAT, or just someone looking for a convenient apartment, it was very nice and easy. Onsite laundry facilities are also provided. The apartment is in a more residential section of Peoria, but it is fairly close to major stores and just about everything else you need. It's a 15 minute commute to Caterpillar and downtown Peoria as well. There is plenty of parking provided, and it is free. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay at Woods and Meadows, and I would be more than willing to come back again. I had a good experience there, and I highly recommend it."
