"This place has been a Godsend. My son joined in February of 2021, and I took him to every class so I could help him at home. Within a month I signed up as well. It’s been such a great activity for us to share and spend time together. A year later, we are still actively training, and I think that’s saying something to the quality of the studio and its instructors. They are fantastic with kids, the philosophy of Soo Bahk Do and the Moo Duk Kwan is rooted in principle and the values taught as well as the personal benefits (confidence, health, focus, discipline) are exactly what a 6 year old needs…even a 36 year old! I highly recommend anyone looking for themselves or a loved one to at least come check it out. This style of martial arts is not like other flashy and showy styles, it’s purely about the art, tradition and self defense. I’ve tried other styles and am glad I’ve found this one."
"I've been bringing my son's for over a month and already I see a positive change in them, more respectful, more calm when asked to do shores.. classes are comprehensive, the masters take their time teaching new students..the master and staff have made us feel like family and at home. We will make every attempt to continue to bring my family for years to come"
"We have our daughter going here. She is 7. I want her to learn self discipline and be able to defend herself if she has to but know when not to. They cater towards children and have been teaching her self defense against abduction and helping her gain confidence in herself. The classes are challenging without being pushy and the instructors are able to communicate with the kids without seeming like they are talking down to children. We are very happy with it and will keep our daughter in here for years to come."
"Master Lupone is fantastic instructor and very committed to what he does to help young and old in the Korean Martial art of Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan. His passion for his art is very apparent. Classes are fun and very exciting. With life lesson that effect all that train. He and his studio are fully certified with the U.S. Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan. If you are looking for a Martial arts studio that teaches real martial arts, though hard work and goal setting, this is the place!!!"
"5 Stars! My 9 yo has been going for over a year & a half now. I love watching how focused and determined he is to get a form right! His kicks were pitiful when he started and he can now kick over his head! He has a lot more confidence in himself. He's made friends, learned control & balance, a different language, & found something he can commit to for life! Master Lupone is a great and encouraging teacher! Tomball Soo Bahk Do is a family & whether you're an adult or a child you are welcome to join!"
