"I found this gem of a facility 10 months ago and decided to enroll my daughter! We LOVE kindred and it’s core values! As a first time mom having the piece of mind that my child is in good hands is Everything, and I have found that with kindred! From teacher interaction to management this place deserves more than a five star review!"
"Do not take your child here! My son was here for 3 days. The teachers in this daycare do not care about their jobs or what they are doing, only there for a paycheck. My son cried non stop for 3 days and all they did was complain. It was his first time in daycare and no one tried to console him or even try to help him adapt to the new environment. What made it even worse was my wife actually worked there for the three days he was in day care and witnessed the treatment these babies received from staff. Very aggressive and frustrated all the time with the babies, all this place cares about is money. My son was traumatized for a while from his experience here. After he ended up with a virus that put him in the hospital and me watching the cameras and her witnessing how everything went here we decided for her not to work and him not to be in daycare, ever. No one even called to check up on him or her knowing he had been throwing up the whole day. Find somewhere else."
"I do not recommend bringing your child/children here. I can sit here and type out all the reasons not to but I’d be here forever. From the beginning, they were extremely unorganized. I was hoping it would work out because it’s closer to home vs his current daycare, unfortunately it did not. I rather drive the extra 20 mins to drop him off at a place I can trust. I pulled him out after 2 days. I refuse to support them and put money in their pocket. That is all they are there for."
"We had a negative experience at Kindred. We took our 9 month old baby in around 7:30am and let the teacher know he had not had his bottle and would probably need it soon. While in the classroom talking to the teacher, a different teacher came in to get a baby from a chair where he was eating. She was very rough with him and just yanked him from the chair with the chair coming up with him. He started crying obviously from pain from the sudden jerk. I wish I had said something then, but was shocked and also disappointed that the Director (owner’s son) said and did nothing as he watched the event happen. We filled out some forms and we could see on the cameras no one was holding our baby or paying attention to him. He was just placed on the play mat and was crying. We stuck around to see how it would be handled but no one ever held him so I went back in to pick him up. I told the teacher “hey, remember he needs his bottle” and she just used the excuse of “oh yes but I have to put everyone’s items away first” that she would get to him. That did not still well for me and a different teacher did end up making a bottle to feed him but he just kept crying uncontrollably. We were trying to be strong so went back home willing to give the place a try. I kept watching him through the app and he was back on the play mat crying with no one consoling him. It was non stop crying with teachers passing right by him. He almost hit his head on the cribs and two older babies were playing with a car seat left on a bench where it was close to falling on top of our son if they kept swinging it. All of this with the teachers paying attention to putting items away instead of watching the babies. I couldn’t take it anymore and we went back to get him. He had been crying for about 1.5-2hrs straight with no one consoling him. By the time we got him he had lost his voice and his heart was racing. It was heartbreaking. We told them that we were taking our baby and if this is what day care was maybe we’re not ready. Our baby had some “PTSD” from the event and would cry inconsolably when placed down to play the entire week after. Now it being a few weeks since, I’ve talked to friends and did research and this is definitely NOT how a typical experience should be. Especially first time babies at a child care facility should be cared for, held , consoled and made feel safe. None of which happened for our baby. We paid for the whole week and our baby was only there for 2-3 hrs. No one ever contacted us after to see how our baby was after, or if we were coming back or even talk about a refund. Do not recommend this place! They are business oriented, not customer oriented as evident by lack of care for babies and parents."
"We moved to the area about a month ago and are so glad we decided to go with Kindred Learning Academy! My two children, 2 and 3 attend and they absolutely love going to school everyday. We’ve been having trouble getting our older son potty trained and weren’t getting a lot of help from his last childcare center. In the short time he has been there, he is now potty trained! I love that you can camera in to see your kids whenever you want, and really love that you can interact with the teachers each day to see how the kids’ days went. You can tell the entire staff is very knowledgeable about childcare and are very friendly and helpful. I cannot recommend this place enough!"
