"My wife gave birth to our second son at Memorial Herman Hospital. While we were there we were informed by a nurse that before we could be discharged we HAD to have our son checked out by a pediatrician. We gave them the name of our pediatrician and she came back and told us that that particular pediatrician did not make visits to the Hospital (we later found out that the pediatrician did make hospital visits and that we were lied to). She then informed us that another doctor would come make the visit because we HAD to have the visit before they would discharge us. This is when we met Doctor Tam Pham. She was very nice and pleasant to speak with. Yet she did not inform us that she was an "out of network" doctor before she looked at our child. If we had been informed of that, she would have never of even touched our child. All she did was look at the color of our child's skin to determine if he had jaundice and then we received a bill three months later indicating that we were billed $637.00! A brain dead monkey could has the capability of determining whether a child is yellow or not (whether they have jaundice). Then she came back a second time to check if our child had jaundice and charged us another $510.00, three months later! Each time our child did not have jaundice. No one informed us that it would cost that much, if they had, I would have never of agreed to it. This is fraud (because I was lied to about my pediatrician not being able to make hospital visits). I would never refer Dr. Tam Pham to anyone else, EVER!"
