"We've been going to Dr. Hoefner since my oldest was an infant. Five years later we've moved further west, added a new sibling, and we'll make the trip to see Dr. H. at River Oaks Pediatrics. The parking is a cinch (and free!). We rarely have to wait for our scheduled appointments, and they can always fit us in when we have more urgent matters. Her staff is wonderful and always put my children at ease. Dr. Hoefner is patient during our visits, offers excellent advice and doesn't seem to over prescribe medication. Highly recommend!"

"We came from New Orleans 13 years ago . My oldest was a patient of my pediatrician at the time. I was so concerned about finding a new trustworthy Dr in a new city. I got a recommendation for Dr. Hoefner and we have since never been anywhere else. She gives you all her undivided attention and spends more than enough time making sure to cover everything with your children. Four children later and 30 miles away we still go to her. The staff is so kind and they always help me with every question and do their best to accommodate our needs. I could t say enough about Dr. Hoefner and her team. "My daughter loves going to Dr. Hoefner. She's wonderful with children and her entire office and staff engender feelings of ease and confidence in their young patients. There are rarely, if ever, other children running around in the waiting area. In fact, I think my daughter would prefer that there was more of a wait so she could spend more time in the playroom before her visit! Dr. Hoefner listens to your concerns, but is also straightforward about her concerns. It's my philosophy that parents don't take their children to the doctor to hear that they're doing a wonderful job of parenting. But a pediatrician can tell you what MORE you could be doing as a parent to make your child healthy. I've had to realize that I'm not doing a perfect job, but Dr. Hoefner handles these matters delicately and without a condescending tone. While not an alarmist, she is not quick to dismiss symptoms or issues that could potentially be an issue. I recommend her without reservation to anyone who wants what's best for his or her child."

"We switched from an extremely large, hospital based group to Dr. Hoefner about a year ago and could not be happier. We switched based on the stellar recommendations that we had heard, and the fact that she runs a small practice. We had become increasingly frustrated with crampt, chaotic waiting rooms and a lack of personalized care. Since Dr. Hoefner is single physician, she takes the time to get to know the children and parents that she work's with. She spent over an hour with our two very healthy children on our first visit, and on subsequent visits we never feel rushed or stressed by taking up her time. We feel that she gives us honest, straightforward answers and respects our wishes as a parent. She is relatively easy to get a sick appointment and she has coverage even if she is out herself. She is a caring, extremely competent physician and we are so happy that we made the switch to her."
