Reviews
"Great sports complex. We visited to watch a family member participate in a track meet."
"Huge! Well kept! Plenty of parking! The concessions for softball are so yummy! A great place in waxahachie!"
"My family has enjoyed many years of sporting activities at this venue. It has served us well for softball, baseball, soccer and even cross country meets. We've also enjoyed the community of Waxahachie's Annual Crape Myrtle Festival 4th of July fireworks show here. The city really does a great job, both with the firework show and ensuring public safety in the complex during the show."
"Here for a high school cross country event. Lots of shade trees and covering over stands. Multiple bathrooms throughout the park and were kept clean."
"My husband likes to drop by and fish here and my niece plays softball tournaments here often. It has everything you would want for each of those events plus others and is a large enough, clean enough place. However, we moved to Waxahachie bc of the historical aspect and aesthetics of the town, but this park looks very average. There are very few trees and landscaping and just nothing special about it. The chain link fence encompassing it coupled by the fact that it is right off the service road and hwy which aren't super-nice either (not to mention the HUGE electric poles running through it [not the actual park lighting]) makes it looks like it isn't appreciated much by the city either nor that they anticipated many out-of-towners of which to impress or draw in. We love Richards Park and the small town feel it brings. Wish this place was more "Waxahachie" and organic and less generic."
