Interventional Pain Management Services

"Very difficult place to get ahold of. They never answer the phone and have to leave a voicemail which is never called back. They also don’t take disks of previous x rays which is all my doctors office gives out, they don’t fax over copies. Interventional pain management only accepts things faxed over. They are not very easy to work with and the customer service is non existent. We also had an apt at 945am and we didn’t get seen until 1pm. They are literally the worst pain management place you could go to. They also will push drugs down your throat. We have went back 3 different times to get the injections we were offered, and each time they continuously push more upped dosages of pain medicine even when we have bluntly said no we don’t want medicine anymore, and that we wanted the injections we were originally offered. They really don’t care what you tell them or your concerns. Be prepared to also wait over an hour for any appointment you go to. At each appointment (some have been video visits and some have been in person) we have waited over and hour to be seen. One of our appointments was at 945am and we were not seen until after 1pm after multiple times questioning the receptionist. This company is literally the worst we have ever came across."

"My elderly mother has severe arthritis and is an invalid in her own home. She recently visited IPM and said she was screamed at by an employee. This employee comes on strong and is viewed as "honest" by others in this office. This "honesty" was extremely unprofessional, even if she thought the patient was cranky first. The patient is in pain. If, as an employee you feel someone has been impolite to you first, you remove yourself and either walk away and gain your composure and/or ask another employee to take your place. As far as how they're managing her pain, even her family doctor doesn't feel they're doing an adequate job. This incident in has caused her to become more depressed. Shame on you, IPM. We'll be looking for another service."
