About the Business
Aces Jiu Jitsu Club is a premier gym and health institution located at 906 Pennsylvania Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas, United States. We offer a variety of classes including BJJ, Muay Thai, and Fitness Kickboxing.
Our institution was founded in 2013 with the goal of providing a fun, fitness-focused, and self-defense oriented community for our members. We offer a free first session and up to 3 free months of training when you sign up.
At Aces Jiu Jitsu Club, we focus on teaching the logic behind BJJ fundamentals rather than just moves, helping our members understand why and how techniques work. This approach has led us to be ranked #1 in competition in the region year after year.
We offer classes for kids starting at 4 years old, as well as specialty classes for adults looking to sharpen their skills in BJJ or Muay Thai. Many of our members have gone on to compete in MMA companies like The UFC, Bellator, and ONE FC.
We also offer discounts for heroes in our community, including military veterans and first responders. Our coaches are dedicated to helping you reach your goals and will work with you to create a program that fits your needs and schedule.
Join us for a free session at our gym and experience the Aces Jiu Jitsu Club community for yourself. Let us help you crush your fitness goals and become the best version of yourself.

Reviews
"The people and the gym are great but if you read these reviews the contract is binding. It’s just as hard to get out of this contract that it is an apartment lease. If you are not completely invested in doing this for years I would not recommend. They do not give refunds and it is $300 to cancel. Also, if you don’t cancel and continuously skip months they back charge you and keep a debt. Until eventually it goes towards collections. There are much cheaper martial arts gyms without a binding contract like this one. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, if you think that there might be even one month you will have to miss DO NOT SIGN UP. This gym is for people who are committed to the craft. Also, if you’re like me and you saw their instagram Ad IT IS BAIT! Don’t bite"
"I’m an out of town drop in prepping for a major event. The gun is clean and well run. Mikal is INCREDIBLY knowledgeable and friendly — he reached out to me in a Facebook group to let me come train for the entire long weekend I’m in town. Cannot say enough good things about this gym. Whatever your goals are — fitness, self defense, MMA, or just a new hobby, Aces Jiu Jitsu Club is the place to go! From having a 3rd degree black belt as an owner to having a former pro MMA fighter as a coach, anybody of any skillset will benefit training here."
"The gym is great, but the contract is weird I signed up for a 1 year contract and my year finished yet there still withdrawing money from my bank account, life’s not easy and now I’m struggling to get by with money being taken away that I don’t have. They don’t give “Refunds” if they take money away even if your contract time is up. DON’T SIGN UP for this"
"Not worth dealing with corporate - we got sent around in circles trying to stop the recurring charges. It’s really disappointing since it seemed like a small, close knit gym, but if life happens… there’s nobody you can physically talk to and you get passed off to someone random in Austin. Even large corporate gyms have the ability to waive fees and *at least they notify you when your contract is up to renew*, but I guess they’re desperate to squeeze as much money out of you as possible before you leave."
"I am from out of state and was visiting a friend. I took an intro lesson here when I tagged along with my friend who was already a student. Great group of peers. Everyone was treated equally and with respect no matter the age, gender, or race. I felt welcomed even as a beginner. Their existing students were extremely helpful and non-judgmental when partnering with a newbie like me. The coaches encouraged questions. They emphasized quality techniques over speed. "Slowness leads to smoothness, smoothness leads to quickness," was the motto. I stayed long enough to witness a behind the scenes look at how the coaches built the community. Outside of quality teaching, they only accept quality pupils. Coming in with an "I want to break everything," or "I'm only about myself," attitude will likely be shown the exit. No wonder everyone were so helpful. I witnessed students with every physique. Openness commitment to learn, improve, and help others were the vibes I got."
