"Horrible. This Doctor will recommend anything to run up a bill. It stared with a "mandatory" ambulance ride from Cooks in Hurst. We were told that because my child had been administered morphine, she would have to be transported by ambulance to Cook's downtown. I informed her that we were self insured and wanted to get the treatment needed, but didn't need extra costs. She insisted the ambulance was absolutely necessary and there was no way around it. Then, 30 minutes later, I was told by another staff member that we were to go home and return the following day to Cooks downtown to be treated and sent home with a prescription. Dr Durr would not talk to us at all to explain the sudden change that medical care was no longer necessary. She was kind enough to write us a "dispense as written" prescription for what I was told at the hospital was codeine, that was unavailable at the pharmacy that was open (10 pm Saturday night) and had a cost of $129.00. This lady is not in the business of healing, just revenue."
