"I would not recommend her services. It was a very uncomfortable and distracting evaluation, we asked her 3 times to be reevaluated elsewhere in her home and she ignored our concerns and called me a helicopter parent. Not even halfway through the evaluation, my daughter realized Dr. Van Doren wasn't going to take us to another room and there have been 4 birds chirping in her ear the entire time she had been there and there was mo way she had the peace or concentration she needed to continue on with this visit, so she asked to leave and if we could find a more comfortable mental health therapist to visit with instead. We had to leave halfway through the evaluation because of how distracting her office was. And now I just got a bill for a $115 from her for the very uncomfortable 35 mins we spent at her house with her birds chirping so much that my daughter couldnt focus on the evaluation form she had to fill out, and i couldn't focus on the conversation Dr. Van Doren was teying to have with me while we waited for my daughter to fill out the questionnaire. This is not a good practice."
