"It's a real shame that Dr. Bernal is so phenomenal when everything else about this practice is so awful. Appointment times are irrelevant. We've been here for hours and still haven't even had vitals taken. There is no regard for any of the classic procedures that happen at a doctor's office. The person taking notes when the doctor was seeing my son wrote down the complete wrong medication. So when I got to the pharmacy, even the pharmacist said they're was no way this was the intended prescription. I called the office at least 6 times and they absolutely refused to ask the doctor and instead told me to go buy a very expensive piece of medical equipment that you needed a prescription to purchase anyways. It took my husband crying in the middle of the pharmacy and the pharmacist himself calling the doctor to finally be told "oops". Ridiculous. No respect for the patient. Front desk staff is truly the worst I've ever worked with and we work in the medical field. My daughter arrived at opening and still hasn't been seen. Office staff is saying they're packed but no one has come or gone and they're the only ones in the office. Not so much as a vital check or an update without us asking every half hour. We walked out and will now go fork out the urgent care copay because I value my kid's well-being. Back to the drawing board on pediatricians which sucks because my kids love the doctor but are now scared of needing to see the doctor because of office staff. Not to mention, I have no faith in receiving the correct prescriptions and forget needing to call the office for anything. We were told that making an appointment online doesn't actually work yet it's still on their website. Fair enough as appointments literally mean nothing at this place. I don't mean the standard 20 minute wait, I'm talking hours. Stay clear unless you have someone who can spend all day waiting to be made to feel small and like you don't matter by office staff. Thanks for telling me to have my son inhale a medication that the pharmacist said would kill him all because you are on a power trip and refuse to do your job and communicate with the doctor. The speech therapy you promised? "We forgot" is not a sufficient answer when it comes to the health of a child. After waiting months, my husband begged the lady at the front (big crystal necklace) while we were waiting to be seen (never were) and she told us that no one actually ever worked on finding a speech therapist despite the doctor saying their speech therapist didn't take our insurance. I expect a difficult time getting our medical records and I fear these horribly rude and demeaning people even having access to my kids' health records. Read the good reviews. They're for the doctor himself but you have to claw your way in to actually see him. Watch what is prescribed for your kids and be prepared to have to physically walk in to ask any questions as front desk will literally hang up on you. Worst medical experience ever. I've never been more repulsed by any medical situation in my entire life. It doesn't seem like the doctor reads or needs these reviews but I hope and pray he does and saves his practice."

"I absolutely love Dr. Bernal . He is an amazing doctor and very knowledgeable. He has treated my children for over 10 years and I have no complaint what so ever . He is very respectful. I like how straight forward he is because sugar coating the truth won’t benefit a patient . I love his staff . Mei and Ms Rosie are always so polite and helpful . Thank you for being awesome !!"

"This is based off my first time...unfortunately my original pediatrician wasn't available, I looked up one near me with good ratings. I was very pleased with the wait time and how quick we were able to see Dr. Bernal on a late friday afternoon. His staff was nice and the Dr made my 4 year old son at ease. It was super nice to be in and out in less than an hour compared to the usual 4 hour wait at my other Dr. I recommend."

"I went to take my daughter in for her first visit as a newborn. Dr. Bernal was very unprofessional today. He made a lot of negative comments and tried to pressure me about my personal beliefs about vaccines. He told me my whole life was over after having so many kids. He was very confrontational. His staff did not tell him to stop he just kept being nasty towards me. I do not recommend."
