"Been going here for over 5 years for labs never had 1 issue now in the past 2 months been told 2 different things about my health and a different lady who does labs who literally felt like my arm was being butchered and I have great veins for over 30 years."
"I have been going to Dr. Rachel Hansen for a couple of years. She has went above and beyond searching for answers to questions I have been asking for years. I have never been so pleased with a physician as I am with her. She doesn't give up if you hit a dead end, she cares enough to keep searching for answers. I have no reserves about referring her to anyone in this area."
"We have lived in 6 different states over the years. The entire Swedish American system is by far the worst health care we have ever received. Good luck even seeing your primary physician. Expect to wait months."
"Unable to obtain needed medication on Saturday"
"I used to be very impressed with this doctors office in Byron, it was close to home and I was able to call in and make an appointment for that day or the next. Now every time that I call I find out my doctor is either on vacation, has that day off, or is only working half a day. I called today to try to make an appointment Thursday and got told that the only doctor that was in for the 1/2 day was fully booked and there was no doctor that would be in on Friday. I was informed that it would probably be in my best interest to try to go to the immediate care clinic in Rockford. The doctors are very good there and I liked my primary care physician, but I would also like to be able to get in to see her when I need to not 3 weeks from now. I know that OSF moved in right across the road and they are currently accepting patients and I may move over there the next time I need to be seen. Update: I ended up going to OSF because not only could I not get in to see my PCP but I was unable to get anything done when I was having vision issues. The doctor I saw didn't seem to believe that I was having vision issues after the MRI showed nothing and would not listen to me. I was told if it doesn't get better come back in a month. I was in paramedic class so not being able to see for an entire month was not an acceptable answer. The doctor at OSF saw me, did a specific vision test and within five minutes of walking in the room managed to tell me it was neurological. Worked with a neurologist who sent me for another MRI and was diagnosed with Multiple Scelerosis within a couple of weeks. I still have double vision from the optic neuritis but thankfully it never got worse. I shudder to think about what could have happened if I waited the month."
