"The owners are friendly and it's a very positive environment! Everybody is very encouraging and helpful!"
"This gym goes above and beyond. Excellent equipment, friendly and helpful people that make it feel like a family, and they offer great prices for a 24 hour gym. If you are serious about lifting, this is the place to be."
"Old School Iron was home to me and my family from the time we stepped foot in the door. It carries a great family atmosphere that you won't get anywhere else. Its all work ethic and positive vibes here. Goodbye other memberships!"
"The only Strongman/Powerlifting gym in Amarillo. They welcome every one and offer reasonable rates and training in the speciality lifts. They add new equipment every 6 months. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. Staff and coaches are very knowledgable. If anyone is wanting to get strong and powerful for sports or in general this is the place to be. Highly recommend to all ages and people. Better and more friendly than those chain gyms where you're just a number. Feels like home to me."
"I've only been going a few weeks now but everyone I've come across is so nice. Everyone looks out for one another and it starts to feel like a family seeing the same faces week after week. You get comfortable real quick here. At a large gym with many people, I feel uncomfortable with so many fit people who know what they're doing around me. Lots of good looking people at Old School Iron for sure but it's in such a small capacity and you get friendly with these people that you don't feel so self conscious. It's nice. There's changing rooms, a little daycare area to drop your littles at, great music playing overhead that actually gets you pumped. They sell some drinks and shirts as well as provide cool water. Definitely recommend for all your powerlifting and strongman needs."
