"They do not honor their word. We had a warranty case with a previous couch. It was very difficult to get furniture and the chairs we wanted were discontinued. They told us that we would still get credit toward more furniture. Instead they delivered a couch (no white glove service, delivery people complained the whole time, tried to tell us it wouldn’t fit into our house, tracked mud through the entire house then left garbage in the street outside!) then didn’t give us almost $800 we still have coming that was supposed to be for chairs. Now we don’t have enough furniture in the room. No one wants to take care of it. I have called several time abs no one calls back. Shockingly bad customer service."
"I have never been so disappointed in a furniture company as I am with Macy's! I had a delivery on September 22, 2021 and my table was delivered without the legs. Ok. I work for a furniture company and I understand things like that can happen! What is unacceptable to me is the lack of communication from your customer service department to get this issue resolved! I did get a call back to inform me the legs were missing, but your representative didn't leave a call back number or any other instructions. I called multiple times for follow up. I finally got the legs in mid October, I was told to call once the legs arrived so assembly can be arranged. I called the week after I received the legs and was told assembly would not be able to happen since this was a final sale! Once I explained the issue yet again, I was told I would be called to set up assembly! Guess what? I'm still waiting for the call! With this type of customer service I am really tempted to tell you to come and picked up this outdoor dining set and refund me in full! THIS IS RIDICULOUS! I will never order furniture from Macy's again!"
"Unfortunately we had an absolutely terrible experience with purchasing a couch from Macy’s. We purchased a three piece sectional prior to Labor Day. Our estimated delivery was expected for 11/20 which our sale lady informed us it will probably arrive that week or sooner stating “they really never take that long.” A week after the estimated delivery we’d received an email explaining that the delivery would be delayed by another month (now expected 12/26). December 26 comes along hearing nothing, and then another week passed by and we were again informed our delivery was to be delayed until January. After a little over 4 months our couch was finally delivered on 1/20. We accepted the fact that delivery took awhile and were so excited to receive the couch. However, after seeing the couch it didn’t even look like they finished sewing it. It came with a ton of strings hanging out of the seams. And we should have inspected it even closer because there’s a tiny hole in it as well. The quality to the product is absolutely terrible as well as was the quality of the service. I strongly warn others from ordering any type of product from Macy’s. UPDATE: After almost 9 months of moderate use this is what it looks like—again just reinforces the terrible fabric and quality."

"Furniture quality is very poor as is their warranty program. We spent thousands on a new bedroom set and started to have issues with most of the pieces. Pet damage, issues with rollers on drawers, stains from water, etc. The warranty states it would cover this damage, but they refused to cover any of it. Save your money and get quality furniture elsewhere with a company that stands by their product."
