Pita Bowl

"I ventured out to Lincolnwood and visited a local pita place. I was warmly greeted by Adam who assisted me in my selection. I ordered the falafel bowl with smokey or spiced rice. The falafel was cooked perfectly. The crust was crunchy but not overly cooked. I feel like a lot of other places reheat the falafel thus turning it tougher. The filling was still soft and was pleasantly enjoyable. I also got the Jerusalem salad which was light and tasty. The humus was very good as well. The prize winner was the garlic sauce though. The only way I can describe it is if a cloud was flavored with garlic and turned into a sauce. Quite frankly, it's divine. Lastly, the best part of Pita Bowl is the prices. The restaurant is well priced in an inflating society. I was checked out by Bushra who was nothing but kind to me. I highly recommend giving this place a try and making it part of the I'm tired of cooking rotation. You will not regret it!"

"Went to lunch here with my mother. Recently opened. Food is super fresh. The plate I had is on special during the week and on the weekend is $14.99. I had Lamb and shawarma with tabouli salad , cucumber salad with tahini and finally the rice. Just walking in the place you can tell how clean the place is. The salad and sides on display and your food is made to order. The owner is genuinely nice and humble. The food is fresh and well seasoned. As we were walking out one of the employees handed me a falafel as I made a comment about them. OMG crispy and soft in the middle. Light and fluffy. I have to go back for falafel and hummus..Thank you"
