"Literally can’t believe the service I just experienced. Both of my toddlers were to be seen tomorrow for their yearly check up and vaccines. I called to see if we could reschedule to the following day and I was told the Dalton’s are on vacation the entire week. They claim to have cancelled via MyChart, which my children have never had accounts in. I was not contacted by phone, nor was ANY attempt to reschedule made on their staff’s behalf. They said they can reschedule in late September. Their appointment was for July 19. If I hadn’t called in attempt to reschedule, I would have driven from Big Spring to Lubbock for a pediatricians appointment that had been cancelled in silence! There’s a reason they didn’t call and that’s because they cannot reasonably facilitate rescheduling. My kids have seen Vanessa for 3 & 4 years. I’ve trusted her every word. I intended to trust her with my third child as well, due in August. The lack of courtesy is astounding and we don’t have the option to return to this office. My sole option was to schedule in September. Completely unacceptable!!!"
"We have loved the Dalton crew. They have always been great with our kids and the staff is always so friendly when we go in from the front desk to the nurses in the back. We love taking the kids there. They make you feel like family!"
"I love the Doltons my kids have seen them for 9/10 years but I may have to move them because the receptionist is so unprofessional she always puts me on hold BC she's on personal calls she always makes me and my children feel uncomfortable the way she acts is very unprofessional"
"Hands down the best pediatrician! Not only is she informative and hand on but when my LO fractured his arm she made sure it was taken care of immediately. On occasions we have seen Jeremy as well and he is fantastic too. It's a great practice to be apart of"
"8-9-19 No longer a patient because I called in to make an appointment and tried twice and I was left on eternal hold. The receptionist (Nay) kept putting me on hold. When I told her that I have already called in twice and continue to be left on hold (4 minutes the first time and 6 minutes the second time), I asked if she could please have Dr. Dalton call me at her convenience. She basically told me that’s not going to happen. Sad that there are doctors that do not value their patient enough to SPEAK, yes speak, to an existing patient when they have time. The receptionist and the nurse (Marina) both basically told me that there is no way I am going to speak to Dr. Dalton. Wow! You’d think she was a celebrity or something. I just wanted to inform her the experience a concerned patient has had with her office and the ridiculousness of being put on hold for so long. I even asked the receptionist if she could just call me back when she was finished with whatever it was she was doing versus leaving me on hold, and she said no because she’s busy with patients! I’m a patient too!!! But if I can’t even speak to Dr. Dalton, what’s the use. The receptionist and the nurse pretty much told me that she doesn’t have TIME to speak to a patient, we’ll go find a pediatrician who does. What is this world coming to when you’re a paying patient with great insurance and the doctor is too high and mighty to speak to one of their own patients “when they have time?” I wasn’t asking to speak to her that instant. Very, very, sad. What happened to the good ‘ole days when a doctor made time for patients? Where do they think their paychecks come from."
