"I took my nephews to their dental appointment at Familia Dental and their system was showing my nephews’ insurance was inactive so they cancelled their appointment. I had to physically go get paperwork that shows full coverage on dental for both my nephews in order for them to be seen. When I returned with the paperwork the receptionist made a copy, handed the paperwork back to me and said for us to have a seat, that they would fit them in as soon as possible since they had to cancel their original appointment. Well, after 2 hours of sitting in the lobby, I went to the receptionist to ask if it would be much longer for them to be seen, since they do close at 6, as she was explaining why it took so long, the manager, who I didn’t know was the manager until after this incident, jumps into our conversation and very rudely said, “Do you not want them to be seen because I can cancel and you’ll just have to reschedule!” So I tried to respond to her by telling her we’ve already waited 2 hours so we don’t really want to reschedule and it’s not our fault that their system was showing their insurance inactive, after being customers there for 4 years, and, that I shouldn’t have had to go get paperwork to prove their insurance is active and the manager kept cutting me off by not allowing me to finish my sentences by repeatedly saying, “Do you not want them to be seen today because I can cancel!” She was just so rude with no customer service skills. I don’t understand how she even has a manager position. On the bright side of all this, the experience we have in the back, where it really matters, is always fun and laughs with their dentist and the assistants. As long as my nephews leave there with a smile nothing else matters, not even the long wait."

"Always a fast and pleasant cleaning. My dentist is the best and I hesitate to share who it is because I do not want her to get too booked up but she deserves the praise, it is Dr. Thomas (hope I spelled it correctly)."

"I had previously gone to a different dentist office that said they took my insurance but turns out they didn’t. That dentist did not talk about a treatment plan with me but rather pointed out all the issues and sent the financial person in to give me a paper with an extremely high sum of what it would cost to get everything taken care of. Familia Dental was wonderful! The dentist took the time to talk with me about what the next steps would be and assured me that we will take care of the big issues first and spread the small problems out so insurance can take care of it. Overall the staff was so helpful and my experience was much more hopeful than the previous dentist I went to."

The assistant was great, friendly and joking. I loved it! The pulling of my tooth went smooth, fast and I didn't even know she was done. Quick and painless! The best experience ever!"
