"Had an absolute wonderful experience staying here for a few days. The staff was always helpful and accommodating (Jenna and Lina, yall are amazing!) Rooms were huge and had great amenities (full kitchen which is usually rare) we stayed in a king suite+ sofa bed. Pretty close to downtown chicago as well. Will definitely choose to stay here when we’re in the area again."
"Since August 7 (it's now Dec 17) this has been my home away from home and, in many ways, I feel more at "home" here than at home. I've enjoyed all the rooms I've stayed in (including an unexpected free upgrade of 10 days in the massive two-story Penthouse Suite!) but I find the view from and layout of room 805 especially nice. So much so that I made a diagram of it in case I ever build something small of my own (note: only downside for me is that this room is handicapped accessible which means lower counters and bed, though I'm glad this wonderful room is accessible for anyone and I like the floor continuity between bathroom area and shower). Really appreciate the open-floor concept between living, dining, and kitchen area. Love the view of what I call 747 alley at Chicago O'Hare. The rooms are quiet even with the airport nearby (though I do put the HVAC fan in the low-ON mode while sleeping for a little extra background noise). Laundry facilities are very clean and nice with several washers/dryer combinations (though they could use a clothes rack) and the "Land and Lake" restaurant on the first floor serves very good food and drinks. Especially love the Walleye sandwich (with the cole-slaw and special dressing included), the generous-portion vegetarian omelette which is available anytime they are open (great meal to order at night to eat for lunch the next day at work), the Caesar Salad, and the Three-Bean Chilli. Fitness center has a nice 5# to 50# dumbbell set, two high-quality adjustable benches, a cable-weight machine/system with integrated chin-up bar plus a couple of treadmills, exercise bike, rowing machine and elliptical. two exercise mats, foam roller, fitness ball (it could use some air), and boso-thing-a-ma-gig are available. Hotel is convenient to restaurants and attractions including All-State area which is within walking distance and staying at the hotel will save you $25 on parking at the arena! Even the shuttle drivers (whose services I never needed in this context) were always full of enthusiastic greetings even as I would head to my regular 4:15 am barefoot meditation moments outside. The guest-services personnel are especially polite too, with a special shout-out to Jenna in that regard...she embodies such a gracious and kind spirit! I will very much miss this place (strange, I know, to say for a hotel, but it's true!). Enjoy your stay! :)"
"Will not go above a 1 star review. for a company with a 25.79% profit margin (3rd quarter 2023) and 229.5 million in net income, you would think they'd provide more then single ply toilet paper that's essentially transparent and essentially unusable. They're being extremely stingy with customer experience, no excuse. on top of not having a decent shuttle service from the airport when other hotels run a regular shuttle route. left us in the cold and rain for an hour. despite assurances that "they are ten minutes out" over several calls. all other hotels we have considered have regular and routine free shuttle service to the airport."
"My wife and I had a difference of opinion about staying the night before or vacation, but I convinced her it was worth it for the early morning flight. When we booked they told us there were continuous shuttles but when we checked in they had us sign up for a one hour time slot. The time we wanted was full so we had to take the shuttle an hour earlier, negating the time savings from starting over night. The room was missing linens and then the toilet was clogged. They told us that maintenance would not be able to get there until the morning, and we all had to use the bathroom in the lobby. They told us we would recieve a partial refund but we never did. In the morning the early shuttle was also over booked and my teenage kids had to sit in our laps. We had a great vacation but then then we called for our pickup and it literally took 80 minutes to come in the freezing cold. They said there was traffic but I never saw any This was a generally horrible experience all the way around. We definitely should have just driven up in the morning. 0 it of 10 would not do again"
"Stayed here one night between our flights at O'Hare and loved our stay. My only negative is we had to wait a bit of a long time at the pickup from the airport to hotel but the staff was helpful and everything else was smooth. Rooms are spacious, clean, and have great water pressure for a nice shower before or after many hours on a plane. They have anything you may need to cook with large enough storage in fridge and pantry, or a great selection for breakfast in the lobby. Highly recommend if looking for a place in Chicago airport area :) Bonus: It was quiet and weren't woken up by planes departing or anything even though in close proximity of the airport."
