"My first room had cockroaches so I called the front desk and I was given a different room. I would have left the establishment but it was late and I was tired. The 2nd room did take time to warm up. I will have to find another hotel to stay in that I don’t have to share the room with bugs."
"The best way to describe this motel /hotel? Is like a 70 years old women trying to cover her wrinkles with a gallon of makeup the place is outdated they try to paint everything to look modern the shower didn’t have hot water told management to switch rooms told me they over booked and can’t do nothing about it smells like cigarettes walls are stained and smells like fresh paint that gave me a headache don’t believe me come over and stay a night and leave your reviews I paid 77 I would rather pay extra 50 and stay at holiday inn"
"The rooms are tiny and stuffy. Everything smells of cigarette smoke. They aren’t truly “pet friendly” like they say they are. The staff is lazy. The cleaners and front desk people are super rude. Staying here for 8 days and I damaged a towel. One towel. And they charged me $200. A good towel costs what, $15? And these towels weren’t even good. $200! When I tried to reason with him he said that I either pay immediately or I leave right away. The staff were truly an embarrassment to the customer service and hospitality industry. This hotel is a joke. Don’t let the amenities fool you, they’re not so good either ."
"Good room for a good price. I’ve definitely stayed in nicer hotels with better amenities and cleanliness but you get what you pay for and it was a great deal. I would say though I’d wish I asked for the other side as the side facing the freeway was quite loud. Also it took a while to heat up the room so be sure to adjust the thermostat right away"
"My sister and I booked this hotel for 4 days during our stay in Chicago. Roughly 40 minutes from the city, it’s a bit more of a drive than most people would want to make, but it does keep you away from the noisy hustle and bustle of the hotels seated in more convenient locations. However, that is where the “pros” of this hotel end. The biggest issue is a lack of cleanliness and amenities. Despite not even booking the cheapest option, our hotel had a bed and a TV and that was essentially where the amenities ended. The thickness of the blanket on the bed is comparable to one of the paper towels NOT provided at the hotel, and if your clothes happen to get wrinkled in transit, I hope you are able to embrace the trend of wearing wrinkled linen because there is no iron or steamer anywhere in the room. I think it would pair dashingly with the wet hair you’ll have due to the lack of hairdryer. And don’t count on using a dry towel instead, because they won’t replace those for you unless you call the lobby. As far as cleanliness of the room, the sheets on the bed seemed to have been recently washed, but that is where this list starts and ends. Immediately, we noticed an acrylic fingernail on the floor of a bathroom so small you have to practically BACK INTO to poop. Neither of us wear fake nails, so there was no questioning if it was ours. On our third day, a disgusting and unidentifiable object floated up into the sink; in addition to knowing that it wasn’t anything of ours, we also weren’t able to imagine anything it COULD be. Oh, and the cherry on top? A questionable white liquid dried onto the TV remote— use your imagination. There was nothing offered for breakfast, not even coffee. And don’t count on bringing down a cup of Joe from your room, because you can add a coffee pot to the king list of things not provided. Room service didn’t come in one single time during our entire stay, leaving us to make do with two wash cloths and two large towels for over half of a week. This could have been a one-off; there is always the chance that we are just the unluckiest girls in Deerfield, IL. But the personality and service of the staff suggested that they don’t care about providing quality stays for ANY of their patrons."
