"Nice enough business hotel. Roomy suites. Would have been 4 stars, but I had to take one away because my toilet reacts like I'm killing it every time it is flushed (see video). It's really pleasant to hear at 3 am. Dear Marriott - room 415 - send a plumber."

"Room was nice and clean. Location was convenient, but a bit hidden. Service could have been better when checking in. Felt as if my family and I were interrupting the front desk staff’s conversation when waiting in line to be assisted with checking in. Very rigid and unwelcoming checkin, but besides that, everything else was great."

"This is a hotel that is fine for business travelers. I would not stay here on a vacation of any sort. I stayed here on business for 7 days. I like that this is a Marriott but has a microwave, a very small kitchenette, and a laundry on floor 3. I used the laundry and was fine. And unlike most Marriott hotel brand, it does have a separate bedroom, which I love. However, for it being a “suites”, you give up room service and a Concierge Lounge. That’s the big trade off that I see. Rooms are dated and in need of major renovation but still comfortable enough. The odds are that you may have a maintenance issue. But they are very responsive to taking care of it. Housekeeping is the worse. They will short you towels, coffee, and whatever else need replenished. And they are consistent about not doing a thorough job. The front deck had stellar service. Always professional. Always responsive, except one time when the early morning shift was not responsive on getting coffee to my room when housekeeping forgot to replenish coffee. The food quality at the restaurant is good. No complaints. I did breakfast and dinner quite a bit. Their service was also pretty good. Overall, I will be back"

"The carpet in the sink area is a no for me. I only had 2 hand towels for my stay, also. I stayed 4 nights and never got more towels delivered. The place could be truly beautiful. The 3rd floor smelled moldy. The room was okay, though. I sat on the couch, and it needs a board. It's either broken or a saggy pull out. Bed slept fine, though. I was rarely in the room. otherwise, it would be a no for me."

"I don’t usually post reviews but after traveling across the country this was one of the best hotels we stayed in. The room was SUPER clean, the beds extremely comfortable and the staff was very pleasant and welcoming. Location is the only thing that gets a 4 since it is a bit out of the way, but in a very well up-kept area which was surprising and very nice. The only downside was we had to use the service elevator due to the other one being broken or construction but still not too much of an inconvenience. If we are ever in the Chicago area or just passing through we would definitely make a little extra drive to stay here again. Should be listed as a 4-5 star hotel. Thanks for a great nights stay!!"
