Residence Inn by Marriott Chicago Bloomingdale

"This has been by far one of the best experience in a Residence Inn I have had in the Chicago land area. The night shift supervisor, Eric, has amazing professional and customer service characteristics. And on day shift, Lily, also has a very welcoming personality. The quality of the room and the infrastructure of the hotel in general are top quality for such an affordable price. I will definitely recommend this location if you are in the Bloomingdale/Carol Stream area."

"What a dump. In the first five minutes a heavy piece of the wood wall panel fell off onto my foot. The place is rundown. The couch slopes more than a dorm couch and thus far only half the staff seem competent"

"I needed a full fridge to keep some work stuff cold and I've had decent experiences with Residence in the past so decided to give it a try, but this place is a dump! Crazy it has 4 star rating... door to room barely opens due to faulty door knob - there's a trick the front desk had to show me, the paint is literally peeling off the ceiling in the bathroom, there are holes in the carpet, and it's dirty. Also, the fitness center (more of a closet) is two treadmills with some dumbbells, the pool is closed, and they're now charging you $15 to park in an unsecured lot! You've been warned! Pick another hotel!"
