"Room was big, 2 queen beds and a sofa bed, nice size bathroom, except our room didn't have a hairdryer to dry my hair after a shower. We went in December and they had a scavenger hunt, finding pictures around the hotel. My kids loved it! Continental breakfast was wonderful danish, cereal, bagels, yogurt, scramled eggs, sausage, regular waffle mix or cinnamon roll mix, coffee, tea and juice. Wish they had hot chocolate for kids. They did have complimentary lemon water in the lobby."

"I paid for my reservation through Priceline beforehand. I was as greeted by Tom who was very aggressive and had an attitude our entire encounter. Tom didn’t give me any information about housekeeping, pool, free breakfast or any hotel information whatsoever. He took my card and lied and told me that the hotel would be holding $254 in addition to what I had Already paid on Priceline. After speaking to Doug the next day I find out that I was indeed incorrectly charged. There should have only been a hold for $50. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told there was nothing anyone could do until Monday. When I asked Doug when the money returned my account because I was charged for the room twice he told me to call my bank or wait until Monday. As a paying customer I will never stay here again and I urge others to go else where as well."

"The staff was friendly, after I was told I would be charged a $50 accident fee, that would be refundable in 2- 3 days after check out, gets to my room and there's a hole in the wall and it's half cleaned, also there were no bath towels in the room, when we asked for them, we were told that they ran out of them, and instead we were given very hard/ rough pool towels, because that's all they had available. I understand they might have been overwhelmed due to being very busy because of the holiday, but it should be stressed to the staff, on how important it is to thoroughly clean your establishment. Thank you!"

"The rooms were comfy and clean. We had a couple things that didn't work. We did not report these until the end of our stay and managed without, because we preferred privacy. We also had some trouble with the air conditioner, but were able to sort it out. Otherwise the rooms were very good, no sign of any cleaning issues at all. The cleanliness was a big deal and made us very comfortable. The location is perfect, near everything: the lake, the beach, downtown, the museum. Service was excellent and staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and allowed plenty of time and options. The pool was not as clean as we would have preferred, but the hot tub and kiddie pool were clean and ideal for our stay."
