Lake Geneva Lodge

"My new Favorite Place! We stayed in a free-standing (there appears to also be shared-wall lodgings) cabin with the interior comforts you would hope for. A TV, small fridge, microwave, coffeepot and iron. A fireplace that isn't wood or gas burning but with rotating flame-look lights. The ambiance from the fireplace was really cozy. You don't have to use the heater part of the fireplace if you only want the look of flames. The cabin has hewn log walls/countertops in the bathroom. A shower/tub combo. There is a rolling barn door to close off the bathroom doorway. Our cabin had 3 windows with blinds that blocked most of the outside light when closed. A wooden front porch that has a roof and 2 chairs on it. For summer heat there is an inground pool that looks super inviting. A bonfire pad with brickwork and chairs. Landscaping that someone took a tremendous amount of time and care to construct. The owners are very welcoming and attentive to their customers and property. We did walk to the lake from here in about 10 minutes, each way. There is a short but steep downhill/uphill but now you know. We look so forward to staying here again in all seasons...and the sooner the better! Julie&Craig"

"September 22-24, 2023 Nancy Sheldon, Robin Sheldon, and Kim Janasik, The room was clean and there were plenty of towels in the bathroom. The welcome bags were cute and very nice. The grounds were clean and the pool area was very nice. After getting settled in we had to go the office and get additional toilet paper and a box of Kleenex. We tried to call the office but the phone did work. The television in the single bedroom did not work. The bathroom door did not have a handle on it to open and close the door. There were no towel racks in the bathroom. There was a small hook on the wall. The basket of towels on the counter in the bathroom was in the way of getting cleanup. The table between the two beds was to small, there was no place to put things. I use a CPAP and there was no place to put it. We had to push the chairs around the room to sit at the table and to watch TV. A lamp and table by the chair by the closet would be nice to have to be able to read and place things on during our stay. I am sorry to write a negative review. But we felt that we needed to share these things with the management of the lodge. Nancy Sheldon"

"We had a wonderful experience from reservation to checkout. We even received a welcome bag at check in, the small gesture simply shows their attentiveness to detail and providing a quality experience. Cabin feel but in the town. Walking distance to the lake. Fair pricing. A HUGE perk for us was that some of their rooms are pet friendly! My only feedback for management is to make those pet approved rooms clear on the booking page. Booking for our pets was a breeze when I called the hotel because I did not want to reserve the wrong room, and the reception was extremely helpful and friendly. I wish we had more time to spend time in the pool or walk across the street for mini golf. We will be back and are already sharing the recommendation with family!"

"Highly recommend this place when visiting Lake Geneva. It is secluded and a short walk from downtown area with plenty of parking. Cabins are well put together and perfect for a weekend trip. The staff in particular is a highlight, excellent service. Will be back"

"The owners are amazing, we added another person to our room, let them know ahead of time and they were most accommodating. The grounds are very pretty, clean, the pool is sparking, the seating and fire pit very welcoming. And, if you have a dog, they do have rooms that they are allowed in! Just off the main drag, but walking distance to all the shopping and restaurants. This is our new go to place when we visit LG!"
