"Should be 4 1/2 Stars Service at front desk and the bar was excellent. Good water pressure and no issues with hot water. Bed was a little soft for me. Room was clean though a bit dated. Nitpicky Details: TV was small. There were some worn spots in the carpet and patches on the bathroom walls. Overall staying here was a good experience and I’ll definitely stay here again."
"Hotel staff was great, but that's where the positive review ends. This place is a DUMP. We travel frequently, and this is, by far, the dirtiest, most run-down room we've ever stayed at. I have to book a room in Atlanta this week, and I will 100% avoid DoubleTree. I've never been so happy to check out. Tub was DISGUSTING. Furniture looked old and beat up. Major gunk build-up in corners. All the lamp shades were stained and broken. The bed frame was a few inches larger than the mattress, so when the cover was over it, we kept bumping our knees. What a cobbled-together, grimy mess. Someone's orange juice stickers are still on the clock, which was set to the wrong time. And good luck charging anything. Don't stay here. You can do better at other hotels in the area. Location isn't always everything."
"My review is somewhat for the event center but also going to cover the room we were given as a part of our package for booking. First off I want to state that I’m STILL peeved about my reception that was had there in December of 2021. Communication with the team started off okay then the individual went on maternity leave and the transition was everything but transparent. I was sending emails and calling to follow up on questions repeatedly. This worsened after she went on maternity leave. I was very thorough with the questions I asked and when it came time to pay it ended up being significantly more. We didn’t have time to argue or go with other options because of where we were in the timeline of everything. Fine. The employee that took over was to be at the venue the day of our reception at some point to make sure everything was fine. We never saw her. I understand she was newer but we had questions at one point then another. We went on with our event and then during take down we were gathering our things and an employee took a glass that we purchased and broke it somehow. Their manager and team were in denial at first. When I told them where I had placed it (a different table with no linens and other decor we brought) and that there were people that watched me they decided to look for it. Found it. Broken. Did not apologize, the manager just said “oops, they must have thought it was one of our glasses” but it was a champagne glass and we had their normal serving glasses which are much different in height and etc. this also had gold “Mrs” on it and gold details. This was my glass for the night so there was sentimental value of course. No one offered a single apology or offered to fix their mistake. If that wasn’t enough, we go to our suite for the night and everything is dated. Not a problem. The candy and random garbage under the bed and around the nightstands. It was well broken in too and kind of sketchy. We were exhausted from our day especially after spending a couple hours cleaning up our decor and etc. but it was hard having peace of mind trying to sleep. I do not want to take away from the front desk hotel staff. They were so kind the entire time. Some of the event staff tending tables were great as well. I truly wish we had a better experience for such an important day."
"This hotel is majorly run down and they haven't fixed anything for quite a while. We had to stay here for a business conference and this is just a few things we encountered... Website said the pool was not open (so we didn't bring our bathing suits, but it was open), some of the rooms did not even have a fridge in it and none had microwaves, everything is pretty run down, ratty and doesn't seem very clean, They insisted on a debit or credit card when we checked in (to put incidentals on) and the girl that had a debit card they pulled $50 out of her account immediately, no free breakfast of any kind (Continental or otherwise) they gave us a voucher for a discounted breakfast but that would have cost us $10 each so we didn't use it, I turned my TV on and the volume was very loud (I couldn't turn it down or off) so I finally had to unplug it, I was afraid the handle in the shower was going to fall off and start squirting water everywhere, 1 girl could not get her room warmer than 58 degrees."
"Stayed here for one week for a family reunion. The room was was clean but not thoroughly (the T.V. remote hand some gunk on it and there were someone's socks along with some food crumbs in the sofa bed). Also the room showed some wear and tear of a lot of use. The breakfast buffet was definitely not worth the almost $15 price tag and lacked any variety. The gym was up to date with nice equipment and a full dumbbell rack. Finally the staff were kind and courteous and were able to cater to any specific needs that arose."
