"Dr Wallace is an oncological surgeon. He and his office staff are personable and capable. He has performed 2 surgeries on me and both were successful. Both incisions faded quickly and scars are gone. Very pleased."

"I spent more time filling out new patient paperwork than Dr. Wallace did in the room with me. I had 6 major surgeries 11 years ago and due to one of my surgeries, I was cut open from sternum to belly button, and sent home with my surgical wound open for 6 weeks. Due to this, I was left with 2 large surgical hernias. When I went to consult with Dr. Wallace, he proceeded to enter the room, not have a clue as to why I was there, barely looked at my hernias (didn't even bother looking at my CT scan), told me that I was fat and all I needed to do was lose weight and I'd be fine. He spent the whole time downplaying my pain and kept mansplaining my symptoms. He also told me that if I couldn't "deal" with the pain, I could come back and then he'd "think" about doing my surgery but that it was probably a waste of time. I have been in pain for 11 years and have already lost 175 lbs, this is not what I expected from a surgeon. As much as I hate saying it, I have never had a good experience with older, white, male doctors and Dr. Wallace definitely wasn't an exception. I left crying, felt defeated and felt less than human, the way Dr. Wallace treated me. I do not recommend, especially if you're a younger, woman of color."
