"The 2 ladies, both dark hair, one with camel lashes and face piercings and the other one long straight hair, that work here said hi quickly and then ignored me and the other customers. They didnt ask if anyone needs help or anything, its surprising. I waa there for an hour too!!They did talk about money and make fun of other people. This is honestly the worst Sallys based on employees. The employees dont know anything and its just a guessing game for them. I havent stolen from here, but it seems super easy to steal from. Zero cameras and employees dont pay attention. Employees care more about gossip,getting high, drinking at work apparently and being obvious in making fun customers or other people. I wouldn't make fun of anyone lookin how these 2 look though. Yikes. Also, majority of postive reviews are from 4-6 years ago."
"Ordered items and paid for 2 hr delivery from the Elgin store via sally.com. Was supposed to get an alert when it was out for delivery. Never got any alert, so I was surprised to find someone else's order left at my door. The receipt had someone else's name on it and the items were not what I ordered at all. Called the store and was told the delivery was done by Door Dash, and the dasher told the store staff she picked up my order. I didn't know they used door dash since it did not say so on the web page. I reiterated that I had someone else's order, so she finally looked and said that my order was sitting at the store and that I had to call Door Dash because she couldn't do anything for me. I asked if there was a number I should call and was told to look it up myself. Called and found out the merchant was supposed to contact them. Called the store back to inform them they needed to call. Sally staff member said I could bring back the order I got and could get my order then. Thing is, I ordered and paid for delivery, but instead of sending the right items to correct their error, I was told she didn't know what to tell me. I asked to speak to the manager but was told they were out of the store. I asked if she could have the manager call me, and the response I got was "give me a minute" but after several minutes realized they hung up. No apology, not offered my items being delivered. Maybe if the store would have checked that the right order was picked up, I would have my items. Called the sally.com customer service number. I am not sure the rep actually comprehended what I was saying. She put me on hold saying she would contact the store. After a few minutes, she told me I could return what I received to the store and get mine order. Once again had to remind them I paid for delivery, I wasn't able to get to the store. Rather than offering a solution, I was finally told I could get a refund. I asked if they could issue the refund right away since they wouldn't simply give my actual order via delivery. I was told yes. I will believe it when I see it. Rather than the store simply correcting their error, they were rude and blamed everyone else for their error. I will be waiting a day to see if the refund is issued, but I still have Laura Brown's order. Wouldn't it have made more sense to get someone to deliver the right item and take the old one back? Very disgusted. All I wanted was to color my hair. Still shocked at the way I was treated."
"I have been to this location a couple time, customer service is amazing. I only have one complaint and its because I arrive there on 1/10/22 at 10am because that is when it says it opens, I really needed a Hair Dye. Unfortunately they were closed I decided to wait because I was already there but after waiting for more than 1 hour I decided to go because it was too much. There was no note at the door saying they were opening late or nothing, hopefully they can be more responsible on that.when I was Leaving the lady arrive so I grabbed my thing and when I try to go in the Door was locked. Was giving a 4 star but this is too much. I am very very upset."
