"When speaking to the woman who sets up new patients, she kept changing my appointment as I "only have amenia, and the cancer patients are more important", so I know the diagnosis of the people who the woman gave my appointments to. Never got to see the doctor, since she was "needed for people who are more sick" than I. Was told the registered nurse was change my meds, she never did. They were going to set me up with an appointment for an infusion, they never did. The phlobotomist tried and failed twice to get my blood. She left awful bruises and I was told I could go to Labcorp to get it done. Once there, they didn't have my information. After calling the office back I was told they meant Quest labs. It was a nightmare from start to finish. Never was I given a care from anybody there. Best part- a month later, still with no appointment for my infusion, they sent me a text message on the portal a list of several cancer support groups I should join so I don't feel alone. They never diagnosed me with cancer."
"My doctor Henna Malik is great. But the support staff now has not been as attentive or as assisting patients like they should. Call leave messages you call back the phones are constantly ringing and when you’re a patient, that’s the last thing you want is to get a no caller no response especially with illnesses like these. After a few weeks of complaining, I was heard. Things are starting to l look better, calls are being returned and attention is being given. Thank you for hearing me SMS making a change for the better."
"I have been trying to book an appointment since 6/14/23. I have left message after message with no response. Today I called and asked to speak to the office manager and was hung up on. Two of my husband's doctors referred us to this practice so I thought they would be good, however I will be informing them of the lack of courtesy and inability to actually schedule an appointment. Not impressed."
"Went to this place 3 times and just had meds thrown at me. Not once, did I have a exam from an actual oncologist, even though they say there a multiple there. Stopped going and stopped taking the medication they prescribed , a month and a half ago, and nothing is different. The kick in the nuts, is that I got a bill from Dec. 2022 tonight . I paid it again, and will never step back in that office again."
"No one is ever happy to be at an oncologist office, but I truly believe the doctors and staff here are caring and want to help the patients. The negative reviews are few years old, so I suggest giving these guys the benefit of the doubt. I have been coming here for the last six months and have always had excellent service and cooperation from all the staff. My doctor has always been responsive through the patient portal and I have never felt slighted in the least. I met with several doctors and looked at different infusion offices for my chemo treatments and chose to work with Dr. Malik and her team at TO-Willowbrook."
