"Overall the doctor was ok she helped me. I received my infusions. But Not until all my infusions were done did i receive a “outstanding bill” My insurance covered my infusions at 100%.. that was guaranteed i called my insurance and verified however the people here got greedy and decided to overcharge what the insurance rate was which was like 50$ Less than what their “bill rate” is. I work in health care administration and don’t usually do billing but i know enough. So it’s kind of funny especially when the receptionist and “billing manager” or whatever changed the clarification on why i had an outstanding bill 3 different times.. first it was “because u received this..” but that wasn’t even true my insurance covered that then it turned into “oh because they didn’t cover all of the infusion just some” yeah no they covered the standard bill rate from what was first discussed. So for me to pay an extra 50$ per infusion i had because your billing person didn’t correctly give them that rate or didn’t even let me know it wasn’t actually fully covered which if that was the case my insurance would have told me but in fact my insurance stated that what their charge was for my simple infusions was over what a typical infusion is that they cover. Anyways obviously i would shop around before deciding to get ur infusions here. I had a reaction to one of the infusion and the visit after the girl started “it was probably just anxiety” are you kidding? Great to hear I’m in good hands with someone who actually cares. Not to mention what could have been a simple call from the doctors office for my follow up visit took 45 minutes of me waiting in the waiting room for another 10 minute wait in the doctors office and then to talk 5 minutes about how great my labs now are. I paid my copay which was already expensive for a specialty doctor for a 5 minute conversation. Thanks but won’t be back I’ll find another oncologist that will actually use my time wisely when i book an appointment 3 months in advance too."

"Dr Palanisamy is an excellent Hematological Oncologist. She has a good background on many types of cancer and is perfectly willing for patients to get second opinions. She is very cooperative in collaborating with other specialists like from MDAnderson, and she always exhibits a calming, caring environment while I have my office visits with her. This is my second bout with cancer with her, and I trust her 100%. Highly recommended!"
