"Dr. Waghela has been a great comfort. She has been a wonderful guide through the frightening maze that is breast cancer. I, personally, feel that she cares about her patients and prescribes their treatments with the goal of wellness. As difficult as this road has been (mine has been nothing compared to some) I wouldn’t change my team of Dr.(s) Waghela and Birdwell."
"Met this person for the first time and to say the least was the worst experience ever. Upon arrival she was arrogant, hostile, rude and lacked compassion. She is very egotistical and do not have respect for her patients. She might look good on paper but she is mean and a horrible human being. She also has questionable clinical judgment and you should take anything she says with a grain of salt."
"Dr Waghela is wonderful! She explains every step of the treatment and is very understanding. She doesn't beat around the bush and tells you plainly what's going on. I would highly recommend her and her nurse Dawn to anyone fighting this battle."
"Dr. Waghela is very easy to talk to. She is knowledgeable in her explanation of my particular cancer diagnosis . She has provided me with valuable and realistic information about my specific diagnosis, and what to expect physically and emotionally during and after chemo treatments or medication usages. I feel that she genuinely cares about me and my overall health because she puts me at ease by explaining things, asking specific questions , and truly listening to how I’m feeling. She provides practical advice on what she can do to help and what I can do to help myself. She provides time to talk with me as a person , not just as a cancer patient , and for that I am very blessed and thankful that she is my oncologist."
"Held onto my grandmother's test results for 6 months and then did not talk about them at her appt. When she got home, she saw that her CEA score was high (a 9.) She had to call back to be told that she needs to go for a PET scan. All Dr. Waghela wanted to do at the appt was argue that my grandmother doesn't have diabetes...which she does. An oncologist is in charge of CANCER TESTING, not arguing with an 80 year old about a condition she's had for years that isn't even the Dr's area of specialty. That's like my dentist telling me I don't need my glasses when I go for a root canal."
