"I would like to give a "Thank You" to Dr. Cavey and his wonderful & caring staff for eradicating my prostate cancer! I wholeheartedly recommend anyone who needs his help with their prostate cancer treatment."
"You or someone you love might find this information useful. If I can help one person with this review, it was worth posting. First, I just want to thank Dr. Cavey and all of his great staff for taking care of me during my cancer treatment. I am a retired dentist and VERY picky as far as who I choose to deliver my medical care. I actually chose Dr. Cavey and his team to take care of me, I was not referred to him. I researched and found that Dr. Cavey’s prostate biopsy methods (transperineal, of which he performed on me) are BY FAR the safest and most accurate of any biopsy methods available. You might consider this type of biopsy over any other type, due to it being MUCH safer than others. If you have already been diagnosed with prostate cancer that needs to be treated, then you have a choice, surgery or radiation. Again, I researched the literature (like my life depended upon it) and found that various forms of radiation treatments actually have better long term outcomes (and less side effects) versus surgery, depending on your specific situation. With that information, I again chose Dr. Cavey and his staff to administer my radiation treatments. His ENTIRE staff are all exceptionally professional, extremely nice and very pleasant. The radiation technologists makes the radiation treatments easy, straightforward and painless. Based on NCCN guidelines (the Bible of cancer care), I feel that I got the very best chance for a long term cure for my particular situation. It all comes down to: “do your own research” and “ask a lot of questions,” not only to your doctor, but people who have been treated for this disease. The bottom line: if I had to do it all over again, would I have picked THIS treatment with THIS doctor (Dr. Cavey and his team)? The answer is absolutely YES. I would without hesitation. I wish all those inflicted with any type of cancer a speedy recovery."
"Just Finished my Radiology Treatment with Dr. Cavey. He himself and all of his staff were professional, caring, and made a uncomfortable situation pleasant. I would totally recommend him and his entire office for anyone in need. The whole experience was better than I thought; went by quickly, and I'm totally happy and pleased with all of it. Best of luck to anyone needing this type of care."
"Dr. Cavey was wonderful and explained every to me as well as answering all of my questions. His staff treated me with respect and kindness."
"Dr. Cavey and Nicole and all the staff is awesome. I have stage two prostate cancer and had radioactive seeds put in my prostate which were causing urinary issues. Thanks to the great staff we finally figured out that it was from drinking decaf coffee. Decaf coffee also has a little bit of caffeine in it and I am very sensitive to caffeine. The caffeine in the decaf coffee was causing my bladder to freaking out. I cut out the decaf and everything is fine now. My urologist Dr. David Rittenhouse referred me to Dr. Cavey and Dr.Rittenhouse assured me that they would get me all fixed up and he was 100% correct. I am receiving external radiation therapy and it only takes about 10 minutes. It’s just like receiving a CAT scan. Very easy and comfortable. A few weeks before they start the therapy they have you do a procedure where they put a SpaceORE In you to protect your colon from the external radiation therapy. That also was no big deal no pain or anything like that. The night before the procedure you just stop eating and drinking anything at midnight. they have a parking garage right across the street from Dr. Cavey‘s office. Just remember to get your ticket validated so it don’t cost you anything to park your car. They also have valet parking for disabled people. There is also plenty of disabled parking spots on the first floor of the parking garage. This place is awesome."
