"KAAWS claims to be a low cost/affordable clinic. However they have dramatically increased their spay/neuter prices which is one of the most important things to keep affordable to try to combat the enormous animal dumping problem we have in Houston, Harris and surrounding counties. They have now aligned with other veterinarian clinics in charging ridiculously high spay/neuter prices and have become part of the problem rather than being part of the solution. Shop around. There are plenty of other clinics that choose to be part of the solution and actually do make this procedure more affordable to the public. Shame on you KAAWS. Regardless of what you said, in your comment below, you doubled your price without any type of notification. I don’t need a lesson in economics There is no way to justify charging nearly $400 for a 50lb canine neuter and refer to KAAWS as low cost which you do on your website. I have been bringing dogs in for several years to you guys for spay neuter. Had anyone communicated with me that things needed to be set up under a rescue to get the discount price,, I certainly would’ve done that."

"We went for a presurgery check up for our female's spay and tooth cleaning. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I love that they had a welcome message to our dog with her name on it when we entered the exam room. The only negative is that prices have risen dramatically. It has happened everywhere and I understand, but, the sticker shock was real!"

"After going to different spay locations I can say I found the right one with Kaaws in Aldine. Not only they were sweet, clean, fast but they really take care of their customers and their pets. They are very communicative about your pet doing the surgery which is important. $255 for the spay it’s not bad at all, it won’t hurt your pockets because I was told Luna was around $600-$800 for the spay surgery in different spay locations. I want to appreciate everyone for their hard work and even having communication after on how’s the pet doing after the surgery. This is going to be one of my recommendations to share with friends.
