"By far the worst experience I've ever had with a vet's office. I understand this is an "Emergency" ER and some animals need immediate assistance over our non life threatening situation. However I believe the average wait time could have been communicated upfront based on their current situation. I should have know that the experience was going to be bad when I read the signs upon entering the location- requesting their customers have patience with a minimum expected wait time of 3+ hours. My situation was not critical however we would have appreciated some feedback over the 4+ hours we were in the waiting room on the status of my dog. The only way we were able to get someone's attention was to stand in the hallway until I could get the attention of someone. Just relaying some information would be nice… We are the customer and I was hoping for better customer service. A simple update every hour or even 1 1/2 hours would have been sufficient. Now I know why they take your $140.00 payment up front. I can only imagine how many people walk out and choose another provider. I would if I could. Hopefully they have their animal with them and have that option. The only communication we had was when we originally signed in and almost 2 hours later when the tech came in to evaluate my dog. I’m glad they are taking care of my fur baby, but this was such a negative experience. The family in the room next to me came out to express their same sentiments."

"My baby got a 8 inch rusty old thick nail through her paw and as soon as we got there they put us in a room right away. Thanks to the front desk and our wonderful doctor and nurses kindness respectful and professional manner they saved my baby and got the best treatment and now shes back home doing great. Everyone went above and beyond and I couldn’t be more grateful happy and blessed. Highly recommend Burleson Animal Emergency Hospital. Y’all are in great hands. THANK YOU!!"

"We have taken every single one of our 5 dogs to the Burleson Animal ER over the course of the last 4 years. From things as small as an allergic reaction, to as large as our oldest baby needing to be in oxygen therapy for over a week. We have had NOTHING but good experiences with them. Have we had long waits at times? yes. Have the costs been higher than our regular vets? yes. But we understand that emergency care warrants both of those things. And truly, the times we had to wait, I was grateful that our pet wasn’t so sick to warrant immediate need. We have found caring and compassionate staff from the front desk, to technicians, to doctors. While we hope to never have to bring our animals to emergency care, we feel very fortunate to have had the experience that we have."

"I was transporting a very very sick puppy from the Fort Worth shelter for a wonderful dog rescue and they had me take her to this vet. I was not greeted when I came in and the two girls/women behind the desk were very rude. They didn’t even respond when I told them why I was there. They just took the puppy from me and that was it. The puppy had thrown up on me and my car on the drive and and I asked if they had anything or anywhere for me to clean it up and one girl/woman, clearly disgusted, only responded “there’s a trash outside.” Luckily I had some napkins in my car. I can’t imagine how they treat the animals if they are that rude to people simply doing a kind deed to help. I hope they give a hell of a discount to the rescue I love because I would never recommend someone taking their fur baby there if that’s the way they treat people. The puppy I was transporting was euthanized there as well because she was too sick. Hope y’all do better in the future and I was a one-off case."
