"I called to get some information and the gentleman was very rude, told us straight up he wasn’t going to help us and that no one in town would. Saying, that we were at the wrong without hearing our side of what’s going on. So much for Fathers Equal Rights. Telling us to call someone else because we were wasting his time."
"Don't call these offices for any help or suggestions, they're rude condescending and instead treat you like you're a bother to them. Don't waste your money get a real lawyer. The service that they claim to offer is just a way to get your money they offer no real help."
"Very unprofessional and ALL ABOUT MONEY. The person that answers the phone is very rude and does not know how to communicate in a business manner. I would never tell a Father in Texas to contact them ever again. If you ask a question and you haven’t paid them money to answer it you are considered a “dumbass”. Luckily my son is reserved and doesn’t entertain ignorance. I on the other hand would had cussed him out!"
"The lawyers are great...when they're around. Most frequently, the staff either don't show up at all, or cancel a day before. Be careful if you plan your days around their availability because they don't tell you before you sign up that this is the norm. Again, if you can catch an attorney- 4/5 star service for sure! May the odds be forever in your favor..."
"CAUTION THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAM ARTISTS I needed some legal advice before negotiating a temporary custody agreement with my ex husbands attorney. I had already filed motions on my own, successfully and accomplished quite a bit First of all! The website is misleading. They lead you to believe you’ll get a lawyer in that they offer “legal services” Don’t buy into it and if you do pay in cash because they held onto my info and charged me on March 7 and again on April 15 I’m now at risk of not having enough money to get back and forth to work until paid again and my electricity could get shut off and my cell bill is due When I called yesterday I put my boyfriend on first Rosalinda was on speaker, she didn’t know I was recording the conversation, I listened as she lied to my boyfriend telling him she spoke to me yesterday about the second charge and she rattled some bull about the payment processing system being responsible for the second charge and JUSTIFIED it by saying that WE were mistaken. We hadn’t been charged twice. Uh lady?! The $350 is gone out of our account! Twice! Also we didn’t sign an agreement to be charged on April 15 we signed an agreement to be charged on March 7 I was shotgun style forced to sign for a membership so I could speak with an attorney before signing an agreement drafted by my opposing counsel for custody of my kids. They completely knew that I was scared and vulnerable and would’ve paid any amount of money for a little security. Rosalinda exploited my insecurities by offering assurance in the form of another lie, she said she was helped by the foundation. BS. She took my money and before I knew it I was face to face with an attorney before I had planned to be. Had no intention of signing a contract with them that day, but she made it sound so different than what it was- and legal issues are notoriously stressful! She knew exactly what to say to rope someone in. That’s a scam folks. If I had known going into the agreement that they’d charge me $350 TWICE I would’ve rather walked out of there with no consultation at all than pay $350 once. They charged me the day I was interrogated by Mr. Boyd (who couldn’t stop hounding me long enough for me to complete a sentence) and when I let the CEO know I wanted my money back, didn’t have it to spare, wasn’t satisfied giving them my money, HE yelled at me and threatened to hang up on me if I didn’t stop talking So I did. I shut up and listen to him talk down to me like I was an idiot, he told me his story and how things are in the legal system and suggested if I couldn’t handle Mr. Boyd’s advice that their non profit couldn’t help me anyway, but if I wanted to shut my mouth and learn (learn what?) they might be able to help? He never heard me say I’d signed the agreement already I worked for Embody Love Movement as the Program Coordinator processing payments and registering new members. Non profit. Annual membership model just like Fathers Rights. We never made people pay like their children depended on us, and we never locked them into a contract and NEVER EVER would’ve saved their banking info to run their cards a SECOND time! And! We let people pay out the membership dues if they couldn’t pay all at once... Fathers Rights Foundation offers no such flexibility and zero kindness. They didn’t care about me, my kids, my money, my legal issue, they wanted the membership fee. And yelled and lied to protect it. They are a failing non-profit and I’ll be reporting them to the BBB as well So beware folks You’re better off calling every attorney in town and begging them to work out a payment plan for 350 down (what I did and it worked) than giving your money to these people parading around like a charity while taking money from people who come to them BECAUSE they can’t afford a lawyer!!"
