Before my surgery, I was very nervous, but I was treated so well by all of the staff. They gave me a stuffed animal to hold during the operation for comfort and the whole process took about 15 minutes. Highly recommend going here! They are absolutely amazing!"

"I just left the office for my post op appointment and I am soooo thrilled to say I have 20/25 vision!! Omg my lasik procedure was AMAZING!!!! The appt was literally less than an hour and the procedure was practically 1 min per eye. My friend who took me said that was faster than a dental cleaning. They’re so nice too!!! The doctors, nurses and office manager were so kind and funny and light hearted. The whole journey felt like I was being walked thru and talked to and treated like family. Patti is the office manager and she was by far my favorite person in the office! (No offense to everyone else) She’s so bubbly and full of laughs. She talked to me and my best friend like she’s our aunt and that made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. She was honest about the cost and options available. And to be honest, I pay $15 for vision insurance per month. When I went to a in-network vision provider, the visit was about 2 hours and all they did was write a prescription for me to get glasses. To be fitted for contacts was another appointment and prescription. Frames for glasses ranged from $100-$900!! Lenses had so many options and the cost varied and when it’s time to pay, the total cost for ONE pair of glasses was going to cost me $1,000. After my eye insurance, my lasik came to $3400. I couldn’t afford to miss out on this!! For the procedure itself, Dr. Schirner took me into an office and put numbing drops in my eyes and put on a hairnet and bootie covers for my shoes. I wore comfy athleisure wear. After 10-15 mins, a nurse came and confirmed my name and date of birth then walked me to the procure room. I laid on the bed and they let me choose stuffed animal (Pooh Bear, Piglet, or Eeorye) to hug just for comfort. Dr. Joseph explained everything he was doing during the whole procedure. They did right eye first then left eye. The bed moved to the left to the first light and he taped my lashes back and put in this thing to keep my eyes open (I couldn’t feel anything in my eyes but it wasn’t scary). The first light was super bright and there was a purple ring and really bright white light that he told me to focus on. Then everything went black for like 2 seconds. (He told me it would) Then the bed moved to the right which is the laser. He told me to focus on a green light and that everything would go blurry for a couple seconds. Dr. Joseph must have sensed my nerves bc he told me to snap my fingers to Jingle Bells and it took my mind off fear. Then he told me the laser was going to begin and he counted down from 15 seconds and it was over. When the laser is working, it smells like a fish fry. After the laser finished, he wiped my eye with a swab (again, I couldn’t feel it). And after 5-10 seconds, everything was clear and I couldn’t see perfectly!! Same thing for the left eye and when it was finished, Dr. Schriner helped me sit up and walked with me to the room next door to look into my eyes. I cried bc for the first time in over 2 decades, I could see perfectly without glasses or contacts!! My eye sight is getting better by the hour!! I HIGHLY recommend getting your lasik done the LASIK Vision Institute!! For the total cost of vision appointments, glasses, contacts, contact solution, etc. you can’t afford not to get LASIK done! While your driver waits, there’s a cute cafe that makes everything in house, from scratch and it’s not expensive or bland like hospital food."
