"My daughter Scarlett has seen Dr. Rahman and Sherry Davis, depending on availability and our schedule too. Both are amazing doctors, however insensitive Shelly, if I'm not wrong about the name, needs to fix her attitude and not sound like she is bothered that I'm calling about my child. Last I remember, she is not paying our doctor visits . Front desk IS what gives good or bad impression. While doctors are great, the chance to see one if your child is in pain or screaming hysterically for hours, like today, even after we tried everything possible - are very, very slim. I will say almost impossible as they're always overbooked and busy. Shelly passes the messages, and it takes forever for someone to get back to you. Now, I understand that there are other patients, but my child is their patient too and obviously in some pain. What does it take and how severe of a case she has to be to get seen by a doctor? Is it teething, belly, something else, or an ear infection as she has been reaching for her ears - well, we can't know and and my 4 month old has been screaming for hours, barely taking her breath, and refusing her milk too. I just called back today September 21st around 14:40 pm and told Shelly that we will be looking for a pediatrician elsewhere that could see my daughter as soon as possible. Shelly was more than happy to send us off. Way to go! Perhaps if my child was dying, Shelly would be more assisting!! I'm from Europe and not used to the complicated ways that the US medical field has and goes by! Anyway, if you have an emergency or your child needs to be seen by a doctor additionally, good luck with that!"
"Unwilling to discuss vaccine questions/concerns. When calling the first time and asking a question, I was quickly cut off and told they believe in vaccines. I followed up with another question and was told the same thing. I was shocked that my questions or concerns weren't even considered at the person answering the phone was quick to label and dismiss me assuming I was antivax. At the end of the day, I don't want a doctor that's unwilling to have a conversation with a patient/parent who just wants to understand and ask questions."
"Dr. Rahman is thoughtful, caring, attentive and specific. He is truly a great pediatrician! My kids also think he’s great!"
"Dr. Rahman is AMAZING ! I brought my son there today for a physical, and he went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make my son feel comfortable. From the moment he walked in the room, introducing himself, giving his background without me having to ask, addressing any concerns I have and reassuring me that I'm doing a good job (something that us mom's don't hear as often as we should) the front desk and nurse were also AMAZING ! Thank you Dr Rahman And staff ! Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed!!!!"
"We have a four week old and a 2 yo. We've been very pleased with his rapport with both of our girls. He was also very supportive of me breastfeeding when my littlest wasn't back at birth weight right away. My oldest had the same issue and our last pediatrician pushed us to supplement which affected my milk supply and made breastfeeding less successful with her. It was nice that Dr. Rahman was willing to wait it out and give her and me a chance to get things going."
