"Nina is a great therapist. I’ve been to different therapist and I’ve never been able to tap into the inner parts of myself like I was able to with Nina. I was hesitant at first because I’ve never been to a drama therapist before but it was a great choice! After every session I felt more connected with myself and ready to embrace myself as I am. Something that’s difficult for me as being vulnerable and kind to myself does not come naturally. 100% recommend!"
"Not my cup of tea... Maybe its the "Drama" part of it all. Maybe its the Drama "therapist" herself, but I wouldn't return. After a couple sessions, I just don't think her techniques will have a positive impact on my mental health. Plus her energy is hard to vibe with, especially when she is seemingly having an "off" day. *EDIT: I do not use my real name on public online reviews. I apologize if this means you cannot connect me. This is an honest assessment of my experience and nothing more."
"It was a great experience to take part in therapy through play for the Embracing Myself in 2019 group session I attended with my family and boyfriend. We went through themes such as finances, health, spiritual, and emotional well being and were able to discuss these elements of our lives, where we are and want to be. I am a fan of goal setting and most everything that entails so I loved this! Going deeper into these subjects opened up conversation between all of us in attendance both during and after the workshop. Going deeper did bring out certain vulnerabilities which is a step towards embracing but I felt like I needed more steps towards embracing, almost like I needed another couple of sessions! The play and props were a blast and some of the movements led to some fun signature dance moves that will be around for a very long time."
"I attended the workshop “Embracing Me in 2019”. It was a comfortable group setting and Nina was welcoming, encouraging and respectful. I appreciated her energy and the topics we covered were important in all aspects of life. The exercises and discussions were meaningful and fun. Two takeaways that stand out from this workshop for me were, 1. Goal setting - doesn’t have to be extreme but attainable. 2. Embrace change - make it work for you."
"At first, I was a bit unsure about the thought of attending a therapeutic group workshop with others not knowing exactly what to expect, but the experience was not only enjoyable, it was deeply enlightening. Nina's animated personality touched all of us in the room which seemed to put us at ease quite quickly. She was able to create a relaxed atmosphere in which we felt comfortable enough to share our feelings in different areas of our lives. She guided us in a very simple form of role playing with one another which had us laughing and tearing up at times as we expressed our internal conflicts, as well as recognizing it in others. I left her workshop feeling happier than when I walked in. I had a sense of relief, a weight lifted off of my shoulders. I was able to reach within and express myself without fear of judgement. Thank you Nina for showing me that healing can come from play."
