"After Dr. Vargas Benjamin left, this place didn’t care about any patients. They wouldn’t answer phone calls, they wouldn’t take messages for two months; patients were just hung out to dry. I had been going there for almost 2 years. They treated their patients like they were expendable and didn’t care that we had our prescriptions for our mental health! For two months I went without prescriptions and couldn’t make an appointment. I kept calling and calling. Now 6 months later they are calling to make an appointment! I hope they lost a big chunk of their patients! I know they will never get another $ from me. Don’t don’t don’t go to this place! You are just a $ sign."

"I have been taking my daughters for over 6 years to this place. Until the last two months it was a wonderful experience/environment. It has recently changed management with no notification that all the staff have left. There should have been a letter sent out to all patients advising them of the change and also the change in policies. I find it to be very unprofessional of the lake of courtesy or I standing. My daughters would see them every three months because of the length of time they have seen the same provider. Now I have to schedule a appointment every months for medication they have been on for several years. I decide to try them for two visited to see if they worked well with them. After the second visit I was informed that they are out of network for a major insurance. So instead of paying my normal 10%, due I reach a high deductible, I was informed I had to pay a high amount. They should have informed me before any visits that this was the case. Due to the change of management I would expect that of my insurance was not accepted, they would have informed me. A mental health provider is not something that should be changed. Those drs are specialized in building a relationship with their patients so that the patient can trust them. A random person showing up is not going to help make sure that the patient is getting the best care. I will now be finding a nee office that we can trust."

"Poor service since the change of management and blatant extortion of patients. I recommend that anyone who is a patient here to find business elsewhere. I have been going to this location every three months for over three years and was getting my prescription that I need to take daily refilled every month. I emailed them several days ago to refill my prescription but they never answered. The next day I called and they refused to send in the request until I have my scheduled appointment which was for the day after and they didn't even have that scheduled correctly! I was told they would try to squeeze me in yet I already had an appointment and received and email and voicemail reminder! All of this was especially frustrating because I've never had a problem with my prescription before and the outright refusal to refill a prescription that I need to take daily and have been on for years with no change in frequency or dosage is unacceptable. This appointment I had was scheduled for the early morning and over the phone. Prior to the change in management, I would usually get a call 30 minutes before my phone appointment for confirmation and then another call from the NP at my scheduled time. This time I didn't receive any call prior to the appointment and the new NP called me 20 minutes late. Upon answering the phone the NP asks "how can I help you?" as if I was calling a store or restaurant. YOU called ME, LATE! The NP didn't even know what our appointment was about, I had to remind them that this was just a regular check in to see how I was doing since I'm already on a prescription. The entire conversation lasted about 3 minutes and the NP seemed really uninterested in anything I was saying, and had very few words to say in response. The longest sentence the NP spoke was when I was being told that now, after 3 years, zero prescription issues/changes, zero adverse symptoms/emotions and zero appointment issues, I have to see them once every month in order to get my prescription. Before the management change I was paying $80 a year, I'm absolutely not going to pay $240 a year! Especially to a clinic where the customer service and treatment of patients has plummeted. I am definitely going to find out where Dr. Vargas and Ciara Jackson migrated to and switch to that clinic."

"Dr. Vargas is no longer affiliated with Benjamin's Behavioral Health. He was an excellent psychiatrist. The new director, Dr. Rasheed explained to me she doesn't do direct therapy with patients. She conveyed, to me, she doesn't have time because she owns 5 clinics. I felt she had a great lack of concern for me as a patient. I arrived for therapy to discover Dr. Vargas was no longer with the clinic. My blood pressure & weight were taken and I was given a new appointment date. I didn't receive services for the appointment I had previously made, although; I paid the copay & my insurance was billed. I am most disappointed."

"I am absolutely in love with this clinic. All the diverse staff is incredibly gifted and they are very compassionate and understanding. They have made me feel welcome and part of the family since I arrived, and I continue to show up and get help and treatment for my needs. The atmosphere is peaceful and I am always able to get exactly what I need and more. I am treated with kindness every time and the office and clinic work to help out the individual circumstances of the clients each and every time. I wouldn’t choose any other place to improve my mental health, and I am truly blessed to be a patient here. Highly recommend anyone to visit this clinic and get whatever need met. They are well equipped with services and encourage long lasting self care in the behavior health as well as mindfulness awareness. You won’t regret coming here."
